Y/n's POV :

Hawa san paid for our food as thanks for helping his sister back then

Both me and Ace started walking home

"Hawa san is a gentleman right" I said

"Well I do appreciate him for feeding us" He mumbled

"I mean you eat a ton! Must be hard on his wallet" I laughed

"You seriously find this funny?" He asked

I nodded

Suddenly my phone rang

It's Aki

"Yes aki"

"You promised to send me the file before night" He reminded me

"I AM SO SORRYY!!!! I WILL SEND IT TO YOU AS SOON AS I GET HOME!" I replied

"Huh? You aren't home yet? Y/n its 10pm??" Asked Aki angry

"Don't worry Ace is there with me" I confirmed

"Yep!" Said Ace with a grin slapping his left hand muscles

"Okay" Said Aki and cut the call, is he pissed for the file?

We got home soon and Ace went to fall asleep in the bed

.... This is getting troublesome, I have to do something

*Next Morning*

"DING DING" The door rang

"Huh? Who is that?" Thought Ave to himself as he was washing the clothes

Y/n is at work so who might it be?

Did y/n camee earlyy??? He thought to himself all excited

He went in front of the mirror and fixed his hair

"Comingg~~" Ace said as he jumped jolly towards the door

"You have a delivery" Said the delivery man

The man left a huge box in front of the door and left

What might it be?

Ace picked it up and thought to himself about how heavy it was

"Let's see" He said as he opened the box

*Same Night*

"I am backk!!" I opened the door with the spare key

the room was dark

"Why didn't u turn the lights on--" I said as I turned it on and saw Ace sulking in the corner of the room

"GOSH MAN YOU SCARED ME" I shouted, that's unusual Ace always ran to me everytime I got home

"What happened? Ah btw a delivery should had came for me--"

"Yes"

"What?"

"A delivery came"

"Oh? Did you open it?"

Ace got his head up and he was crying

"Are you gonna throw me away??" He cried

"H- Huh? Why do you think like that?" I asked confused

"What is that thing for?" Asked Ace looking towards the foldable Mattress I ordered for him

"Wh- why will I throw you away? I brought that so that you have your own place to sleep at!"

"Oh? SO THAT'S FOR ME TO SLEEP IN YOUR HOUSE???" Ace laughed and jumped around

Idiot

"Were you sulking for that all this hours?" I asked curious

"Sh- shut Up" He said. Embarrassed and I laughed as much as I could

"Mann I am tired" I layed in my bed

"So am I gonna sleep in the floor with this mattress from now on?" Asked Ace

"Yep" I said excited that I don't have to sleep uncomfortable anymore

We sat down for dinner and Ace kept asking me questions about my day

"Btw Ace"

"Hm?"

"You still do want to go back right?" I said as Ace gave me a very serious expression for a sec

Thinking about something

"I do"

"There is a Problem, I can't find any way to connect with Oda, even the email didn't get any replies, we don't have any clues or path except Oda"

"I understand"

"Seems like you are gonna be in this world longer than er thought" i said with a sigh

It was night and Y/n was already sleeping in her bed, I was in my new mattress laying

..... Why did she sighed? Does she not want me here? Am I a bother? I mean I do eat and sleep at her house

This apartment is also very tiny and hard for two people to stay

Thus mattress takes up all tha floor space of this room, it was easier to sleep together but I know what she means

... I am a bother, in this world, or the other

It was morning and Y/n went to work before I even woke up, must be busy this days

I was making some omelette for me to eat

Should I use the rice cooker today?

I saw Y/n making rice from the cooker made the rice faster

Well the oven was dangerous from the start, it wasn't my fault

I broke the rice cooker...

Well not a problem! Maybe....

"Why are you sulking in the garden?" Asked a man

I looked up to see it's the firefighter next door

"..... I.... This time I broke Y/n's rice cooker.. " I said sulking

"..... Man it's not your fault you know, you came from the countryside eh"

"..... But I am gonna get scolded... And if Y/n thinks I am a bother who is just making her lose money, she might just throw me away... "

"....... I get what you are saying... Do you work?" Asked the man

I shook my head no

"I just help around the house"

"Poor girl must have trouble earning for two bellys.... Hey what do you say? Wanna work with me and earn some money?" Asked the man

I looked up at him shocked

"I can?"

Y/n told me I can't... Because I have no identity in this world

He nodded

"Of course you can, plus I saw the way the house was perfectly unharmed even tho the oven blasted... You did a very good job with the fire" The kind man replied admiring me

"OKAY!! SURE!!" I grinned

Finally I won't be useless to Y/n
