Y/n's POV :

Days passed, Ace was already a pro after training for a bit

He will be promoted to work soon enough

My days passes by with work and hanging out with Ace

"Btw" Said Aki, with whom I was working with right now

"You are starting to get more and more out of touch Y/n" He said angry

"I.... Am just busy" I excused again

"Yeah yeah.... Is it something about Ace? I saw you have a lot in your mind" He said and I just shook my head no

"Hm?"

"If I want to contract an manga author, A very huge one at that... What should I do?"

"Maybe Email them?"

"I already did--" OPS

"Huh? Why? What's happening Y/n? Are you planning on having a manga
Career or something?" Asked Aki

"I.... I just..... I am sorry I can't tell you" I said, he won't believe me anyway... However I am confused, Am I doing the right thing? I need guidance.... Which no one can give me in this situation

"Is it about Ace? Is.... Is he the Ace from One Piece?" Asked Aki and my eyes got wide open

"N- no! A-ahahah what kinda question is that" I tried to shake it off

"I don't know what's going on in your life... But be sure to let me know when you get comfortable enough"

After work I went to the fire station where Ace was right now, i saw him training from afar, which made me feel proud ngl

I didn't call out to him because I know he will get distracted

He does look cool

Maybe I was getting too worried myself

After work me and Ace went home, he started to tell me about all sorts of things like how his duty will start from tomorrow and such

I am glad

It was another one of our hangouts

Me and him were having cold coffee as we walked around the streets

All of a sudden a girl fell in front of us

"M- MY MOM! PLEASE! HELP!!" She shouted

"Huh?" I asked confused, looking towards were she was pointing at

There was woman waiting trying to jump off the building,SUCIDE??

"WTF?? ACE--" As I turned towards him, he was already gone

He went behind the building and flew with his devil fruit power, he went to the rooftop and caught the woman

"Y-YOUR BF IS WITH MY MOM!" The girl shouted as I looked at them with awe

.... Ace did a good job, but there are so many people here, that was risky

Soon the daughter thanked us and we went our way

"That was dangerous"

"Her life was more precious Y/n"

"I hope she will be doing ok now"

"Me too... I hope so"

As we got home I went and started making dinner

"Also did Oda reply?" He asked all of a sudden

"Nah, I emailed him 3-4 more times however he didn't, I am afraid if I send too many he might think I am spam" I said

He sighed  "why does he has so much attitude"

"Ahaha I will say he is being rather safe"

"Also Aki is suspicious of you"

"He is?"

"Yep, he asked me if You are Ace from One Piece" I said

"Y/n....how did you meet Aki anyways?"

"We went to the same University, I told you"

"But how did you guys became friends?"

"Just like that"

"I think he likes you" Said Ace as he walked to the kitchen

"Oh? Never" I laughed

My past... Aki knows it all... How can he like a girl with a past like that

"Are you hiding something Y/n?" Asked Ace as he came closer, I could feel his breath in my neck

"N- no" I answered

He made me turn around

Wtf is he doing

"Y/n....what are you hiding about your past?" He asked, this time more forceful

"You are too close" I said as I pulled away

"... Yea... Sorry" He said as he went and layed in my bed

.... Was I too rude? Maybe he is hurt I don't find him close enough to share my past with

"Aki can know but I can't" He mumbled

"What?" I asked not hearing him properly

"I an saying, why is that bastard so special anyway? He can know but I can't?"

"Don't curse Aki"

"Oh? Why should I not? It hurts you??" He said angry

"Are you trying to argue?"

"I am not, I was just stating what's in my mind"

"Don't act oversmart"

The entire night passed quite as non of us spoke another word to each other

Third Person's POV :

"Oda!" Called his editor, entering the messy apartment Oda rented just for him to draw peacefully

"Don't disturb me" Said the man while having his smoke

"Ahaha You have to see this" Joked the editor

"What?"

"Someone keeps emailing me talking about how Ace is in this world and crap" The man laughed

"Huh?"

"Spams like this are common however the funniest part is"

"What?" Asked Oda putting his smoke down

"I remember when we went to have a drink some days ago and you talked about how it would be a good new unique concept if Ace was to come to our world and begans his new adventure"

"Did I say that?"

"You did, and guess what? 3 days after that, we received this Email" The man laughed more

... Oda just stayed quite... In his mind... He was thinking about Ace coming to our world.... But not the rest of the plot

.... As weird as it sounds... Did the character he created crossed dimensions?

.... However in Oda's busy schedule, he wasn't allowed the luxury to think about this thoughts much, so he just let it be

"That is actually a fun coincidence"
