The moment I checked my phone this is all I could find

When I went out to shop, I overheard some girls talking

I took a deep breath

Let me go home

I entered the room

Holding my breath in, afraid that Ace might be gone

He was watching TV

"Ace from now don't go to cook anything on your own" I said while he was cuddling me

"The house will catch on fire if you return to your world at that time" I said making him laugh a little

Humans are weird creatures

They can even joke in this situations

I hugged him again, this time, tears fell

After doing nothing but just cuddling and talking the whole day, laying in our bed in that lazy summer day, Ace finally startef pushing me to take a shower

"Well yeah I did went out today and I am sweaty" I said still laying on the bed as Ace pull my leg

"GET UPPPP Y/NN!!!!" He said as I kept laughing

"I just arranged the bed this morning!!' He became serious making me laugh more

" I SAID GET UPPPPPPPPP" He make me get up and pushed me to the washroom

I stepped on the shower but not before kissing him

"First kissss" I said turning back and he kissed me

"Mhmmm"

"Let me make some ramen while you are in there" He said as I nodded jolly

Having Ramen together is like mine and Ace's favorite activity

I closed the door and started the shower

I could hear him humming the One Piece opening while making some ramen

"ACE CAN YOU CHANGE THE TV CHANNEL TO THE MUSIC ONE?" I asked as he hummed again

"Suree!"

A minute later I heard him call me again

"Y/n come out! It's ready!!" He said

"Waittt!! Don't eat without me!! Wait for me! "

"I am waiting!" He said

I heard him seat on the floor putting both of the bowls in the table

I heard him pick up the remote to change the song channel

"Hey don't--" I heard the remote fall on the ground

It's like my heart dropped along with it

"..... Ace?" I asked, turning the shower off

"Ace did you fall?" I asked again, taking the towel from the hanger and putting it on

"𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐌𝐄!"

the room was empty

Two Ramen bowls on the table, the remote which was in his hand just now, dropped on the floor, his scent in the air

My eyes widened, heart beating fast

"Ace did you went out?"

"Ace are you there?"

"Ace this jokes are not funny"

"Ace.... --"

I ended up crying

He was gone

Just like that

Ace was gone

My house, the same old, felt so big with me in this tiny room alone

I didn't get out of the house for two days when the neighbors came to check on me

They understood what happened

They all cried a lot too

"He was a little ball of energy for us all"

We all remembered the time he was here and how he had affected us each on our own ways

Yeah, I should at least hold on to his memories

Yeah he is gone

I called Oda for the last time

"Is he gone?" He asked

I nodded while in the call, tears almost falling

My voice shakey

"Yeah"

I already miss him

In some days his scent will be gone, tha mattress he slept in is gonna be in the wardrobe or sold, the episode list he had marked in my laptop will disappear, the last ramen bowl he made for the both of us will get mold on it, but I will hold on

This is all I have

I wish he was here

But his memories are here, and that's what I will cherish
