Lilith's pov

Kaylen and my dad were in the kitchen making dinner. I was lounging around on their couch. Kadence was with Kayla. They had a sleepover last night. So I chose to spend my Saturday and the rest of today annoying my father. I stayed at the castle last night with Zazz and Ryland. We drove the staff crazy. But at last I was back to annoying my dad and Kaylen.

My feet carried me to the kitchen. Kaylen was cooking something on the stove and my father was chopping vegetables. Kaylen and my dad turned to me when I walked in. My eyes landed on a red pepper he was cutting.

"You both should go out to lunch tomorrow," I state. I pull myself onto the counter next to the sink.

"I will be at school all day tomorrow. It's a school day you know," Kaylen says.

"Really? I had a day full of annoying Cadell and Lily planned. Damnit I'll have to reschedule... God Kaylen I know it's a school day. I just don't see what's stopping you from going out on a lunch date," I shrug. I really needed her to not be in her class or in the school. Ava and Zoe already have goats ready for tomorrow. I already set up a teacher's banquet for the other teachers. They will be eating in the gym far away from Kaylen's class. They won't suspect a thing until the goats are already in the classroom.

"That seems like a good idea," my dad says. Kaylen looks at her mate with a smile.

"It does sound like a good idea," Kaylen says.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow and we can find somewhere to eat," my dad says. Yes! My plan was working!

My body freezes when a scent hits me. Earlier it was faint and I couldn't point out what it was but now it was full on strong. I jump off the counter. Kaylen was pregnant. I step closer to Kaylen. My eyebrows furrowed. Is she really pregnant? My dad watched me. I circle Kaylen causing her to look at me with a raised eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" my dad asked. I lift my hand and place it on her stomach. My hand became warm. A light glow surrounded my hand.

"You tried to hide this from me?" I asked. My dad bit the inside of his cheek.

"We didn't know how to tell you," Kaylen says.

"It's a boy," I say. They both look at me. "And a girl."

"We didn't want to know the gender yet," my dad says. I shake my head.

"My fucking bad, dad because unlike you I don't keep things from you. I never have," I snapped. I head towards the door.

"And this is why we didn't know how to tell you," my dad says. I turn around and groan.

"God, I don't care that you guys are starting a family. I don't have anything against Kaylen. I don't know how many times I have to tell you this. She is great... outside of school. But I'm still going to terrorize her like I do the other teachers. I don't just single her out because I found out she's your mate. I do the same shit to the other teachers. Trust me I'm not mad because you guys are having twins. I'm not mad at Kaylen. I never have been. I'm mad at you. I'm your daughter. All I want is to see you happy. You have a mate and she makes you happy. You're starting a family. I get siblings who most likely won't be out to get me when they get older. I just want you to stop keeping things from me. I eventually find out and I want the information to come from you," I say.

"Alright. We'll tell you things like this from now on. So a boy and a girl?" my dad asked. I nod my head. My dad chuckles before looking at Kaylen. "I told you she would tell us."

"That's how we wanted it. We wanted you to tell us. Though it was supposed to happen after we told you the news," Kaylen says. I roll my eyes while chuckling. My dad opens his arms out for me. I wrap my arm around him before pulling Kaylen into the hug. As I pull away from them I jab them both in the ribs. "Lilith!" Kaylen shouts.

"You asshole!" my dad grunted. I laugh before stepping away from them.

"Just so you both know I will be an amazing sister," I mutter.

"You're so full of yourself," my dad smiled.

"Do you think they'll be hybrids or just boring like the both of you?" I asked. Kaylen smiled. "Dude, if they are hybrids do you think they'd be able to have wings in their wolf form. That would be sick. A fucking flying wolf!" I shout.

"We'll have to wait and see," my dad says. I shake my head.

"I can't wait... can I?" I asked while lifting my hand to Kaylen's stomach. She nods. I place my hand on her belly. I tap into my powers. My lips purse before I remove my hand. "Only one is a hybrid. And I'll leave that for you to find out," I say. The boy was a hybrid while the girl was a wolf.

"What's the other one?" Kaylen asked.

"I'm not saying," I smirk. "Though I am going to go. Kadence has been away from me long enough. I'm also sure you both are tired of me annoying you," I say.

"Didn't not know you were trying to annoy us," Kaylen says. My eyebrows furrowed.

"The patients you have will come in handy when you have the twins. Glad to be helpful. I honestly thought you would have kicked me out already," I mutter. They both roll their eyes.

"You are a part of this family. Kaylen just weasled her way in. This house is yours as much as it is ours. We would never kick you out," my dad says. I place a hand over my heart.

"Aw, remember that when I fuck Kadence in this house," I say. My dad narrowed his eyes on me. "Also does this mean I get to call you mom?" Kaylen's eyes widened.

"I- uh- yo- mom?" Kaylen sputtered. My dad smiles before looking at me.

"She means to say if you are serious then she would be honored to be your bonus mom and that you can call her whatever you want," my dad says. I nod my head.
