(Guys I think I owe you an explanation of why Gadget calls Shadow, "Skip". It's short for skipper, which is another term for Captain. Anyways that's it 👍)

Skip and Prince Sonic were awfully closer that night.
Rouge said she thinks the two of em' finally confessed their love or something. Good for them I guess.
Now we were sailing into the Black Sea.

The sea was foggy and dark, the mist thicker than a can of soup.

Sonic was standing by the railing on top deck, watching with a careful eye.
Captain Shadow had everyone cover their ears enough to not be hypnotized by sirens. Rouge, Cream, and Silver, all got scales but Sonic didn't have enough for everyone on deck.
I got one of Blaze's and Amy had one of her's as well.
Bunny and Metal had ones from before and Blaze also gave one to Espio and Vector.

I was up on top deck with Silver, as he steered through the murky waters.

Skip stood by Silver, surveying the ocean upon us.

Rouge and Cream were on starboard deck, looking through the map of Mephiles cove.

Grey and black and white swirled around us in the waters and skies.

I had let Tails regulate the engine, while I watched from the deck.

"How far in do you think the cove is?" Asked Skip to Captain Rose.

"I don't know, I just hope that we don't run into any trouble along the way, I can hardly see through all this damned fog." She said.

I walked down to starboard deck and leaned over Creams shoulder to glance at the map.

Sonic walked down from top deck and passed by us, watching the ocean with a careful eye.

It must have felt strange for him, he was on the lookout for his own kind, and he was working amongst others unlike him.
He must have felt out of place, but Captain seemed to like him as a crew member. The past month and a half seemed wild having him on board...

I looked over to below deck where Big was coming up with a mug of ale.

All on the waters and ship seemed calm but then a sudden loud chorus of screeches and singing filled the area and Big dropped his mug in shock, and practically everyone on the ship was spooked.

Cream looked around and immediately got closer to Rouge in fear.

"Don't worry! That's a good distance away! It's just a small warning call!" Said Sonic, trying to calm us.

"And what's the warning?" Asked Skipper.

"Don't go towards that direction, it territorial for the sirens." Said Blaze.

"But that's the exact way we need to go!" Said Tangle, walking up next to Sonic at the railing.

Skip narrowed his eyes the direction the singing came from, and huffed.
"They'll just have to deal with it."

Sonic looked over at him nervously.

"Shadow, that's not-"

"Sorry Sonic, but we have to keep going, no matter what they say." Said Skipper. "Keep going."

Silver nodded and we continued on, but the prince still had a nervous look.

The Cursed Pearl continued to sail through the foggy sea
