Third Person

After the crew had dinner at the Doom family's house, Raven invited them to come into town.

Everyone in the town hadn't seen Shadow in forever so when he walked onto the street along with his mother, everyone was happy to see him.

"Oye! Shadow! Where have you been?"

"Ay, it's Captain Shadow! Cómo estás?"

"Shadow! How are you?"

"Captain Shadow, how's the pirate life treating you?"

It seems like everyone in town had not forgotten the hedgehog captain.

"Seems like you knew everyone well." Said Sonic, as they walked down the street.

"Jasper's a small island, everyone here knows each other almost as if we're family. So, you'd expect to be recognized if you're not a new face." Shadow said.

"Mijo, you and your crew should get supplies around here, we have plenty of shops. Me and father can help patch up things if you need any help." Raven said.

"No, it's fine Mami. But thank you." Shadow said.

Rouge and Cream followed along, they knew this island just as well.

The crew gathered supplies with ease but simply enjoying going around the little town.

The town had charm and people were very lively.
Shadow knew it was normal for small dancing parties to be held near nighttime, when the circle would fill with people and others would play music on fiddles and bagpipes and pan flutes.

Shadow enjoyed the familiarity of it all, and enjoyed the familiar friendly faces.

Night was falling and the crew had gotten supplies to the ship and patched up the cannonball damage. They planned to work on patching the bullet holes tomorrow.

Shadow sighed and removed his coat and hand before leaving the ship. Sonic was standing on the starboard deck, watching the ocean when he saw the Captain leave his cabin.

"Where are you going?" Asked Sonic.

"Back into town. We like to have little festivities at night." Shadow said. "Want to come?"
He held out his hand for the siren.

Sonic glanced at it and reluctantly took his hand.

"Sure."

They headed down to the harbor and back into town. The lanterns were lit and people gathered close to the town center.

"What are the festivities? Is this a natural thing?" Asked Sonic.

"Yup, pretty much every single night. It's only optional but people continue to do it." Shadow chuckled.

A lively young, female lemur with a pan flute stepped out into the crowd and started to play, and a tall female skunk joined her with a tambourine.
Gadget ran past us with a fiddle in his paws. I knew he loved playing whenever we were here.

Then people started to dance as music played.

I felt a surge of enjoyment as people started to dance in circles and moved in sync.

"Oh no...Uhm, actually Captain, I'll just head back to the ship, I'm good." Said Sonic, who started to back away.
