Y/N
"Has she died in her sleep?"
"Zhu Yan! Just help me wake her up."
"Too late, the steward is here. We need to go!"
I sighed as the noise finally disappeared and I was able to freely bury back into my bed. Just a few more minutes... or hours. The alarm hasn't even rang yet. I could already feel myself drifting out of consciousness when the rhythmic sound of shoes clacking against the floors pulled me back. My eyes clenched shut as I brought the blanket over my head. Can't these people see that someone's trying to sleep here?
"Aihan! What has gotten into you? Get up this instant!" A shrilly voice broke through the room, making me groan.
Whoever this Aihan girl is, needs to get the hell up so the woman can stop shrieking.
"Aihan!"
In a swift second, my blanket was harshly tugged away, making me curl up. The woman still didn't stop yelling. Can't she see that I'm not Aihan? My eyes opened into a glare but as the haze disappeared, I paused. What the hell? I looked above me and there I saw a fuming lady. And like any other sane person, I screamed. Loud.
"AAAAAHHHHH! Intruder!"
I scrambled to sit up and scoot away from her. My mouth was still open in a scream as I threw everything I could get my hands on, at her. I could feel my heart beating in my ears as I tried to process everything. Oh my god. I am going to die. Oh, my god. I haven't even confessed to my crush yet!
"Heavens! What happened to you?" The woman's brows were furrowed in confusion as she dodged another pillow. "Stop it right now!" She yelled as I threw another object at her. "Calm down!"
I paused, another pillow in my hand. I swallowed thickly as I took a good look at her. What the hell? She was wearing traditional clothes. Ruqun. It was in blue and white. The kind I only see during Chinese New Year. But Chinese New Year was months ago. And even if it was today, what is she doing in my room?
"Who are you? Are you gonna kidnap me for ransom? Well, joke's on you, lady, we are not millionaires. You-"
"Aihan!" She yelled out. Her face was only getting redder by the second. "Have you gone delirious? Stop it right now. We do not have the time for fooling around. The lady has a lot to get done before noon."
My brows furrowed. "What are you talking about? Get out of my room!"
"Aihan-"
"I'm not Aihan!"
My scream seemed to have surprised her as she froze and went silent. I swallowed thickly, cautious of what she was going to do next. What in the world is happening? Why is this random lady in my bedroom, calling me Aihan? She must be retarded.
I snapped out of it as I noticed the wall behind her. It was wooden. Then my eyes flickered to the thin blue curtains that framed the open windows. What? I looked down at where I was sitting and my suspicion only grew. I was on a mattress on the floor. My heart thumped faster. I have been kidnapped. I hurriedly stood up, almost tripping over myself in the process.
"N-no! Stay back!" I warned as I saw the lady step closer.
I stared at her. With a deep inhale, I turned and bolted out the nearest exit. Curses continuously fell out of my mouth as I ignored her calls from behind. What the hell? I've really been kidnapped. I need to go back home. Oh, my god.
I frantically looked around as I made it out the door. There were more people. Just like the lady back there, they were all dressed in traditional clothes colored in white, blue, and pink. Have I been kidnapped by a cult? For all I know, they are all crazy. I didn't think twice and just ran forward, completely ignoring the stings and the uncomfortable feeling of gravel digging into my bare feet. I don't know where I'm going but as long as I keep running forward in one direction, I should get somewhere, right?
