(Y/N)’s POV
I found myself in the garden. The soft breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers. Shane was already there and his tail wagging eagerly as he bounded towards me.
"Hey there, buddy! Ready to play?" I bent down to ruffle his fur.
Shane barked excitedly. His eyes shone with anticipation as he darted around the garden while his tail wagging furiously.
I chased after him. The lush greenery of the garden provided the perfect backdrop for our game of tag. We raced through the flower beds. Shane darted between the bushes graceful effortlessly while I stumbled along behind him, laughing all the while.
"Come on, Shane, you're too fast for me!" I panted as I tried to keep up.
Shane bounded towards me unbridled excitement and his tail wagged furiously. I scooped him up into my arms. Planting a gentle kiss on the top of his head, I chuckled as he showered me an affectionate licks.
Shane's joyful barks filled the air as I ruffled his fur. It's adding to the cheerful ambiance of the garden. Just as I was about to resume our playful game, Dahyun approached in a rush with Momo following closely behind.
"(Y/N)!"
Dahyun's hurried footsteps echoed on the garden path as she called out to me.
"Hey, could you watch over Shane for a bit? Momo and I need to run some errands" Dahyun asked urgently.
I nodded though my attention still focused on Shane's adorable antics. Dahyun quickly planted a kiss on Shane's head before hurrying off with Momo.
"Say goodbye to your caregivers, Shane~"I took Shane's paw in mine to offer a farewell to his caregivers before I put him down on the ground.
"(Y/N), make sure Shane stays away from the swimming pool! He's afraid of the water!" Dahyun shouted urgently from afar.
"Don't worry, Dahyun! I'll keep a close eye on him!" my voice echoed back to her.
I smiled as Shane let out a small bark, his tail wagging eagerly. "What's up, buddy?" I bent down to his level.
Shane's paw pointed towards the ball lying near the bench. His eyes gleamed excitedly. "You wanna play fetch, huh?" I amused by his enthusiasm.
Taking the hint, I retrieved the ball and tossed it towards Shane. Executing a graceful leap, he caught it mid-air. His tail wagged even faster with joy. "Good catch, Shane!" I praised him adoringly.
I laughed as Shane eagerly chased after the ball I had just tossed, his tail wagging excitedly. In each throw, his joy was palpable and I felt a sense of happiness watching him play.
However, my laughter turned to panic when one of my throws went awry. The ball soared over the fence and splashed in the swimming pool. I realized what had happened. I didn't know how to swim and retrieving the ball seemed like an impossible task.
Shane whined as he sensed my hesitation. His gaze was pleading and I knew I couldn't let him down. Taking a deep breath, I steeled myself and reached out towards the water. I knew the risk I was taking.
What if I couldn't swim to the ball? What if I drowned before I even reached it?
Carelessly, I leaned too far forward. Before I knew it, I had slipped and fallen into the water.
The cold embrace of the pool enveloped me and I struggled to keep my head above the surface. Panic set in as I thrashed about, desperately gasping for air.
"Help! Help, me!" I shouted and choked in fear.
Shane could only bark anxiously from the safety of the poolside. He’s unable to come to my aid.
"HELP!!!"

Sana’s POV
I slowly stirred from my slumber. The weight of last night's events hung heavy in my mind. Groaning softly, I reached for my phone and checked the time. The bright screen illuminated the darkness of my room.
I pushed aside the covers and sat up to stretch my muscles. The weight of my guilt settled over me like a suffocating blanket.
Grabbing the towel nearby, I lifted myself off the bed and headed to the bathroom. The cool tiles soothing beneath my bare feet. I shed my clothes and let them fall to the floor.
Stepping into the shower, I let the warm water cascade over my body to wash away the remnants of sleep and doubt. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to get lost in the sensation. The rhythmic pattern of the water against my skin was a soothing balm to my troubled mind.
Leaving the shower, I wrapped a plush towel around my body. I made my way to the washstand, where my hanging bathrobe awaited and slipped it on.
Turning to face the mirror, I began to dry my wet hair. When I wiped away the moisture, I heard Shane's barking.
"He must be so excited to see me. Shane always has a way of showing his love in the most enthusiastic ways" I chuckled to myself.
Shane's barks took on a different tone in each passing time. A sense of unease crept over me. It's prickling at the edges of my consciousness.
Hurriedly, I made my way to the door as my heart pounded in my chest. Cracking the door open, I was met with Shane's frantic rush towards my bedroom. His paw pointed towards the window.
Quizzically, I followed Shane's frantic gestures to the window. Separating the curtain, I gasped in fear at the sight of (Y/N) floating in the swimming pool, struggling to stay afloat. Panic seized me and tears welled up in my eyes. I rushed outside to call out for help.
"Please, someone help! (Y/N)'s in the pool, he needs help!" I cried in fear and desperation.
I dashed towards Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon shared bedroom. Knocking loudly, I waited anxiously for someone to answer. The door swung open to reveal a bleary-eyed and confused Jeongyeon.
"Yo, what's the deal? Why the tears? Why the tug? Let's talk it out, no need to lug!" she asked as I swiftly grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the door.
"(Y/N)'s drowning. We have to save him, Jeongyeon, before it's too late!" I blurted out in haste.
"Oh dang, we gotta move fast, save
(Y/N) in a flick. Don't fret, I got this, I'll do the trick. No time to waste, we gotta be slick. In the name of the power of determination and love, we'll heal him quick!"
Fear flashed across Jeongyeon's eyes as she followed my gaze to the swimming pool, where (Y/N)'s lifeless body floated on the surface. Instantaneously, she sprang into action. She's diving into the water and pulling his body to the poolside.
I helped Jeongyeon lift (Y/N)'s limp form from the water. My heart ached with the desperate need to save him.
Jeongyeon's voice cut through the chaos,"Hottie, hit him with CPR, no time to stall. I'll dial the ambulance if that dude doesn't answer our call. No giving up now, in this brawl.Together, we're a team, standing tall!" She urged me to perform CPR before she stride to get her phone.
I pressed my hands against (Y/N)'s chest as my mind raced with a flurry of emotions. "You can't leave me, Please… please come back to me. I need you…"
Tears blurred my vision as I pressed against his chest. There was nothing—no heartbeat, no breath. Panic surged through me but I refused to give in to despair.
I positioned myself over him. I pumped his chest with all the strength I could muster.
"Come on, (Y/N), please. D-don't leave… me like this… please, come back to me…"
In a moment that seemed to stretch into eternity, (Y/N)'s body jerked and he coughed up water to gasp for air. Relief flooded through me.
"You're awake!" I whispered tremblingly in emotion.
I pulled him into a tight embrace as if to shield him from the world. My tears mingled with him as I hugged him more. (Y/N)'s arms encircled me in return. He pulled me close as if he never wanted to let me go. I kissed his forehead as I whispered comforting words to him.
"I thought I lost you..."
