(Y/N)'s POV

I hated Sana. I hated her for what she did to me. Why did she even bother coming back? Didn't she feel any shame after what she had done? She broke my heart. She made me feel worthless. And now she had the audacity to expect everything will be okay.

I couldn't stand the sight of her at my house. Every moment spent in her presence felt like a dagger to my heart. She thought she could just waltz back into my life and everything would be forgiven, forgotten. She was wrong. She was so wrong.

I sighed heavily to calm down the anger and anguish bubbling inside me as I approached the door. I pushed the door ajar. There she was. She's standing in my bedroom while waiting for me.

"What are you doing here? I don't want to hear any of your apologies. Just save it" I demanded sharply.

My words cut through her and I could see the hurt in her eyes and threatened to spill over into tears. She held herself together to face me determinedly. "C-can I sleep... w-with you... tonight? I miss you" she asked.

I scoffed at her audacity. Did she really think I would give her permission to sleep in my bed after what she had done? Her pleading eyes softened something inside me.

"Fine, you can sleep with me tonight. And I'll sleep on the floor" I gave in.

To my surprise, she didn't protest. Instead, she grinned mischievously. "If you're sleeping on the floor, then I'll join you" she declared.

I rolled my eyes at Sana's antics as she entered my bedroom. Her laughter filled the air. I was about to walk out when she stopped me. "Where are you going? We're supposed to sleep together, remember?" she asked
playfully.

"Just go to sleep without me" I replied firmly.

Sana wasn't having it. She shook her head stubbornly. Her pout made it impossible for me to stay mad at her. "Pwease~ I need you to sleep beside me" she pleaded in a babyish voice.

I groaned in frustration. I knew I was no match for her when she turned on the charm.

Sana's sudden closeness caught me off guard as I settled beside her. Before I could react, she snuggled closer. Her head found its place on my chest. Her fingers traced delicate patterns on my shirt. It's sending shivers down my spine.

"What are you doing?!" I started to ask but she silenced me with a finger to her lips.

"Shh, just listen. Listen to your heartbeat. It's like music to my ears" she breathed against my skin.

Sana's voice, soft and melodic, filled the air around us. "(Y/N), do you hear that? It's like a soothing lullaby and putting me at ease" she murmured as she listened intently to the steady rhythm of my heartbeat.

I remained silent as I closed my eyes to focus on the sensation of her presence beside me. Her fingers continued their gentle exploration against my chest.

When sleep began to pull me under, Sana's voice broke the silence once again. "(Y/N), do you miss me when I'm not around?" she asked in vulnerability.

Instead of answering her, Sana leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to my cheek.

"I miss you so much. It's been so lonely without you. It's like a sickness, this ache in my heart when you're not with me. I even had a bad dream about you..." she confessed quietly.

Her words trailed off and I could sense the weight of her emotions hanging heavy in the air. I listened in silence. I felt a pang of guilt for the distance I had kept between us.

"It's the little things. Like the way you hold me close, kiss my forehead and play with my hair... I miss it all so much, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Even just bidding me good night and sweet dreams... " She grew her voice in each other's words.
