(Y/N)’s POV

A few years later…

The morning was a wonderful start to the day. Sunlight streamed through the curtains. It casted a soft glow over everything. The birds outside sang a gentle melody and the air was filled with the fresh scent of morning dew.

I raised myself on one arm. I watched the beautiful sight of Sana sleeping peacefully beside me. Her hair spread out like a halo on the pillow. It framed her delicate features. Her eyelashes cast tiny shadows on her cheeks and her lips were slightly parted as she breathed softly. She looked like an angel, serene and perfect.

She was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen and every day with her felt like a blessing. I leaned in closer to enjoy this moment forever.

"Good mor—" I started to greet but before I could finish, Sana's eyes fluttered open and she pulled me into a kiss. It was gentle and sweet.

When we finally pulled away, I smiled down at her. "Did you sleep well, love? Any sweet dreams last night?"

Sana stretched lazily. A contented smile spread across her face. "Mmm, yes, darling. I had the most wonderful dream."

"Tell me about it" I brushed a strand of hair from her face.

She snuggled closer to me. Her fingers traced patterns on my chest. "We were in a beautiful garden, just the two of us. There were flowers everywhere and the air was filled with their fragrance. You were holding my hand and we were walking down a path lined with roses. It felt so real, like we were in our own little paradise."

I smiled as I imagined the scene she described. "That sounds amazing. I wish I could've been there with you."

Sana looked up at me."You were. In every dream, you're always with me."

I kissed her forehead. I could feel a rush of warmth spread through me. "You're so beautiful, Sana. Every moment with you feels like a dream come true."

She blushed as she gazed down. Her cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink. "You always know how to make me feel special."

"That's because you are special. I never want you to forget that" I hugged her tightly. We lay there for a while longer as we wrapped ourselves in each other's arms.

Sana shifted slightly and looked up at me thoughtfully. "Darling, why haven't you proposed to me yet? We've been together for more than a year now" she began.

Her question caught me off guard and I parted myself from her embrace to face her directly. Sana wrapped her arms around my neck. Her fingers naturally found their ways to stroke my hair as she gazed at me lovingly.

"I... I guess I've been waiting for the perfect moment. I wanted everything to be just right" I admitted in a nervousness and excitement.

"If I were a man, I would've proposed to you already. I'd get down on one knee and make it the most romantic moment ever" Sana giggled mischievously.

I chuckled at her playful teasing. "Oh really? You'd be that eager to lock me down?"

She nodded more seriously through the laughter in her eyes. "Of course! I wouldn't want to risk losing you to someone else."

I smiled as I was touched by her words. "You won't lose me, love. You're everything I could ever want and more."

She sighed dramatically. Her fingers continued to stroke my hair. "Then what's stopping you, darling? I'm right here, waiting."

I took a deep breath as I felt my heart race. "I guess I've just been overthinking it. Wanting it to be the perfect moment, with the perfect ring, in the perfect setting."
