Flashes of misery
Drowning in currency
As it rusts away with me
Do you know what it's like
Dreaming of fairy tales
While lost in a bloody sea
After all this time
Thinking of you,
I should have been thinking of me

So, Don't tell me those sleepless December nights
Mean something when it comes to her
No, I'll eat my words, I'll bite the dust
I must resist saying false bluff
For all I know, I've become the mistress I didn't think I was

I went from being in love,
A marriage: short & bleek
Now i'm haunted by a beheaded queen; pleading me not to jump
Oh, after all this time
Dreaming of you,
I should have gone up to leave

For all I know, I've become the mistrust
I didn't know I was
And I pack my things, take my boys
Leave your father's foolish ploys
At the door

For it's you two, I adore
Goodbye Holidays, hollow days
With you two, I'm jolly and happy now
And I can forgive a great deal
Let's run away my boys, out of town
I have so much in me, so much too feel
For I'm not alone, i'm not alone
Let's run away now

Flashes of misery
Now i'm rusting in currency
Drowning at the expense of glory
And hidden affairs
What will it take
For the world to see me, as I am?
It isn't fair.

Now, I see me like i'm Anne
And your Henry the 8th
I can spew out
a thousand words of hate
But they've sown my mouth shut
Yet my words slip out...

"They were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded."

For in the end, the beast got tamed
They let her in, I fade again
I jump once more, the stops lights blink
I see my end and I stop and think.

Was it destiny of cruelty
To make it my turn?
I may lead with my heart not my head
So instead of dreading death
all I leave on this earth
becomes gold thread
and as I see a blur, let me ask you this:
I can't imagine as you kiss her
But you can imagine it does hurt me.
You can't stand the words you heard.
Then why did you marry a... Spencer?
