"So, Miss L/N. Lovely to put a face to a name!" A rat-something hybrid sat across from Y/N at a long table. She played with her dull brown hair, falling below her shoulders. Her eyes looked dead behind her glasses, as if nothing had been there for a long time. She had been unemployed for a year now; the agency had kicked her out after the accident, and she had been sustaining herself on kicking the shit out of any criminal she happened upon whilst on errands and such. But that doesn't keep the lights on for long."It says here you haven't been employed for a year now. Care to tell me a little more about that?" He questioned the woman.
"Well, the agency, uh, terminated my employment after a fight that kinda went wrong." She smiled nervously.
"Hm, alright, we can come back to that in a bit." He glanced over at the copy of her Hero License she had sent over.
"Tell me about your quirk... 'Stealth'?" He wanted to know. She faltered at the question, choosing to answer this question in the direction of the wall rather than the principal.
"We- well, it's- it was, exactly what it sounds like. Reducing my heart rate to practically nothing to remain silent, and being able to sneak behind people while making virtually no noise. It made me entirely unremarkable, in every sense of the word- I'd only be noticed if I wanted you to notice me. I could have walked in here without you ever realising. But it's not invisibility." She finished the lengthy explanation, looking up to him to try and gauge his reaction.
"Nothing flashy, basically." She began to doubt her worthiness to sit at this table.
"You keep talking in the past tense, hm? Any reason for that?" He kept a warm, insincere smile on his face.
"The accident that led me to be fired. I woke up after a fight, just with a common thief, and, it was gone. Just gone." He finally had a change of expression at this.
"... Interesting! You've got the job." He stood up and began packing his things.
"Sorry, what? Really? You don't even know what I'd like to teach? Infact, what will I be teaching actually?" She fired off.
"Teach whatever you'd like. We don't discriminate here, so quirk or no quirk, I trust you to teach them well!" He head for the door.
"I haven't even gone on a real patrol in a year! I mean- this is incredible, I guess? Thank you!" She attempted to stop digging her own grave and bowed.
"You're welcome, Miss L/N. Be sure to be here at 7 'O' Clock sharp for the first staff meeting before class starts."
"Tomorrow?! Okay... I'll see you then. Thank you." And with that, the door shut behind him.
Y/N L/N was perplexed. She ended up assuming that he probably hired her as there was little to no choice with class beginning tomorrow. Either way, a huge amount of work had been dropped on her lap for thevery next morning.
