The three women- sorry, victims of Y/N's food-dumping exited Nezu's office, their faces smug as anything.
"Hey, you've still got a bit of noodle there." She smiled, pointing at one of the woman's hair. She scoffed, walking away whilst combing through her hair with her fingers to try and clean herself up.
"L/N! Come in!" He opens the door, beckoning Y/N inside. She obeys, shutting the door behind me. Gingerly, she takes a seat in front of his desk.
"So, L/N. You've made quite a few waves already in your first week!" Y/N remains silent, occasionally making eye contact with him.
"Especially with your first lesson. Wow, did you take those kids by surprise!" She quirked a brow, looking on in confusion.
"But anyways, I've mainly called you in for the incident that took place at lunch today." Her head goes back to hanging in shame.
"I must say, the ladies in admin very much wanted you fired. However, after speaking to witnesses, I've decided to suspend you." Her head snaps up to him.
"For the rest of today. With pay!" He smiled.
"Seriously? That's it?" She mutters in disbelief.
"Well, I had to give those ladies something. I cannot punish you for defending yourself, however! So, take the rest of the day off."
"Thank you, Nezu." She attempts to give him a nervous smile.
"Oh! And do me a favour, because they are most certainly waiting outside. Rather than act like I've punished you terribly- make sure you leave with a smile! Then perhaps they will realise no one will tolerate their behaviour." He finished with a beaming smile.
"Will do." She gives him a quick salute before leaving.
She met the eyes of the admin ladies, before giving them the most devilish grin she could. She cackled as she walked away from the dumbfounded women.
"So? For how long will we have the pleasure of not seeing you? Or were you fired?" Aizawa caught her in the hallways and questioned her with a mock excitement.
"Suspended for the rest of the day, unfortunately for you." She smiled sarcastically at her coworker as they made their way to the staff office.
"Damn. At least it means I might get to see another rooftop mental breakdown from you." She stopped in her tracks, turning to give him an icy glare. He laughs quietly, and holds the door open for her to enter.
Quickly, she gathers her things from her desk.
"No way, did you actually get fired?!" Present Mic whisper-yelled from his desk.
"Nope. Sent home for the day. I'll be back tomorrow." She gives him a weak smile, as she gathered her things.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Hizashi." She said before leaving. The door shuts with a click. Aizawa makes eye contact with Present Mic before sitting down at her desk chair.
"Dude, what're you doing?" He questioned. Aizawa starts tapping away at her keyboard.
"I want to see what she's hiding. I think we have the right to know if there's a traitor in our midst. The computer sounds of a resounding 'beep' to signal the password was incorrect.
"Ugh... any idea what her password is?" He turns to his friend, who seemingly had no intentions in joining his crimes.
"Don't look at me." Mic raises up his hands. Aizawa rolls his eyes before going back to his own desk. Out of curiosity, Mic gets up and looks over his shoulder to see what Aizawa was doing.
"You can't just give it a rest, can you? She probably didn't even go to UA man." On the screen, Aizawa was entering Y/N's name into the past student database. He hit enter, ignoring his friend's comment.

Aizawa attempted to enter his own password to gain access- but to no avail.
"Woah... She was the top student..." Present Mic stared at the screen.
"Wait." Aizawa started to put together the pieces in his head.
"Did she really only graduate 5 years ago? I started here the next semester. You would have been teaching already... Do you not remember her?" Aizawa turned to his coworker.
"Uh... Maybe? Who was her homeroom teacher?" Aizawa scrolled down the page.
CLASS: 3-B
HOMEROOM TEACHER: PRESENT MIC (YAMADA HIZASHI)
Aizawa turned around in his chair, folding his arms over his chest, looking at Hizashi as if he were an idiot.
"Huh..." Mic rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Is there a picture? Maybe it's someone else with the same name?"
Aizawa clicked on the link for her school picture.
An image of a younger Y/N from 5 years ago, wearing UA uniform popped up. She wore a smile on her face, and her eyebags were noticeably missing. There was a certain glint in her eye, missing from the present version of herself. Aizawa slowly studied each feature, taking note of her fresh appearance and zest for life. He wondered, what happened? Where did the spark in her eye go? Where did the smile go?
He wondered why she was still beautiful even with dead eyes and dark circles.
"Oh!" Mic snapped his fingers.
"L/N! She was super smart. Very loud one, always playing pranks with her friends. She was always super confident, reminds me of that Bakugo in your class or Monoma in 1-B... It's like they're two different people!" He reminisced.
"Can't you remember her quirk? Or hero name?" Aizawa asked.
"Nah... I just remember it wasn't very flashy. You know what, I remember her scaring people with it for fun... But that's all I remember man. I can't believe I didn't recognise her! She doesn't even look 23! Most 23-year-olds don't look like their spirits have been crushed..." He looks off to the side, questioning how he could have missed such a thing.
"Yeah, I thought she would have graduated the same time we did. Guess I was wrong." He stared at the screen, analysing every bit of text, searching for answers.
"What are you hiding...?"

A chapter to make up for the lack of updates. Exams are done so we're back to normal schedule :)
Take care,
Wyatt.
