"Merry Christmas!" Phoebe smiled brightly, though still feeling half asleep, as she entered the room, squeezing Taylor into a tight hug as soon as she entered the room.
Taylor hugged her back easily, "Merry Christmas, Pheebs. Did you sleep good?"
The teen nodded as she pulled away, going to get herself something to drink, "Yep. Will say, I wasn't expecting to get to sleep in today."
"We were all up pretty late," he shrugged, "Plus I wasn't about to be the one to wake you or Hayley up. You both are little monsters in the morning."
"Am not!" Phoebe argued, scrunching up her face.
"Grumpy," Taylor stated simply.
"Yeah, I'm the grumpy one." Phoebe mumbled, even though she knew it was the truth. "Where's Mom at, anyway?"
"Sleeping, I told you I wasn't waking either of you. I chose peace today."
"You're so dramatic." Phoebe grinned, "It's Christmas! I'll wake her up."
Taylor sighed dramatically, leaning against the counter, "Good luck, soldier." She gave him a quick salut and grin before heading up to the bedroom, Taylor following behind anyway as they both entered the room.
"Time to get up Hayles, it's Christmas," Taylor said, earning a quiet groan in response as Hayley just turned to face the other side of the bed.
Phoebe rolled her eyes as Taylor gave her a 'told you so' look, before going over to the bed and jumping on the side of it. "Merry Christmas, momma!"
Hayley peaked one of her eyes open, a small smile on her face as she opened her arms, Phoebe instantly falling into them, "Merry Christmas, buddy."
"So you guys are only grumpy little goblins in the morning when it comes to me." Taylor shook his head at both the girls now laying in bed cuddling, making Hayley laugh as Phoebe stuck a tongue out at him.
"Be nice to my baby, Taylor." Hayley shrugged lightly, turning her head to look at him and his very dramatic pout.
"No, yeah, I see how it is." Taylor crossed his arms, making Phoebe shake her head at his dramatics.
"I'm sorry," Hayley grinned, propping herself up on her elbows and meeting Taylor halfway for a quick kiss, "Merry Christmas, T."
"Merry Christmas," Taylor smiled.
"Ew," Phoebe dragged on, rolling away and off the bed, "You guys are gross."
"Be nice or you won't get to open any presents." Taylor challenged teasingly, making the teen cross her arms.
"You be nice."
"How about-" Hayley started, fully pulling herself out of bed, "We all be nice. Breakfast?"
"Yeah, Dad, you might wanna check on the french toast you left on the stove?" Phoebe told him, trying not to laugh at the moment he realized he did in fact leave food downstairs cooking.
"I'll be down in a minute, 'kay?" Hayley told the teen as they both watched Taylor hurrying to get back to the kitchen.
"M'kay," Phoebe hummed, following him down and instantly going to set the table while he finished cooking.
The rest of the morning passed by in an easy haze. They ate, opened presents, listened to Christmas music and took Alf on a walk around the neighborhood. By the time the evening rolled around, Phoebe was feeling ridiculously spoiled and beyond happy.
