Xavier
[JustIs, CEO's office]
"So, your case is a problem with the patent? You should've told me. Do you have any proof of any kind?" Jack asked Ruth the next morning during a meeting in his office. After a sleepless night, he had finally made up his mind and was helping us with the case.
"I would've brought evidence if I had any. That's why I came to you. My law team would've done something, but we needed better. My brother's friends suggested you, so I thought I'd come to you." I felt proud my sister was listening to me for once.
"I don't know how to say this, Ruth. It's going to—"
Isla barged into Jack's office, cutting our meeting short. "Jack, look at what you've done!" she exclaimed, shoving her phone in his face.
"Whoa, what are they doing in front of your office?" Jack asked.
"No. No. I ask the questions here. I have a meeting and need to get work done, and here you call them and tell them rumors that don't make sense."
"Sweetheart, I didn't tell them anything. For all you know, they miss you and want to see you."
"See me?! They'd be sitting in my office if they wanted to meet me. This is not a meeting; this is for taking me and locking me up. Just like the last two times you messed up."
"I swear I didn't tell anything. For all you know, it's the recent news."
"News?!" she asked doubtfully.
She took her phone back and searched, "There is nothing in the news with me in it."
"I never said Isla. Your other identity."
She searched something, and her eyes widened. "Oh my god! Jack, I'm staying here. I can't go back now. They'll lock me in my house for sure. I'll work in your office."
"Sure, sweetheart. You have to stay here because I've already texted them telling them you're here. I can't have them finding out and murdering me."
"You traitor!" Isla screamed, lunging at him.
She went and flopped on the couch near Jack. "My life is over," she sighed.
As we got back to talking, two of my friends barged in. "Where is she?" they asked Jack, not noticing me. Jack pointed at his desk where Isla sat working. "Wassup, brothers?" she asked. Brother?! She couldn't be the sister they talked about... Unless they have another?
"You have the nerve to say that. What have I told you about dating?" one of my friends, Noah, asked.
"I wasn't dating. That guy just throws himself on me, and the reporters made a big deal about it."
"Noah, chill. Sis would never date him," my other friend, Jace, spoke.
"Listen to Jacey, Noah-it-all. That guy is not my type. Have I ever dated? I promised you, and I never break my promises."
I laughed at the nicknames she called Noah and Jace by, getting everyone's attention. Finally noticing me, Jace spoke, "Sup, King. What are you doing here?"
"The law stuff I was talking about," I answered.
Isla was glaring at me. "Is he that bro dude you were talking about, Jacey?"
"Yup, the only guy who could beat me."
"He looks weak, honestly."
What the heck?! The sister who beat them up in the ring was her. She's a girly girl. She'll be easy to defeat.
"Sexist." She commented, as though she could read my mind.

Romance"I hate it, Isla." Xavier said stepping closer. "I hate it when you hang around with other guys." I scoffed, "You. Don't. Control. Me." He smirked, "You are mine. Whether you like it or not." He said, leaning forward and resting his head on my neck...
