Previously-
“You want to…” I began.
“Dance? Yes.” he said as he pulled me out onto the dance floor.
He wrapped his hands around my waist and I wrapped mine around his shoulders. We swayed back and forth to the music.
“Those dance lessons from your mom really paid off.” I smiled.
“Right.” he giggled, “I've only stepped on your foot once.”
I giggled at him, “I've missed you.”
“You don't even know.” he said
The both of us swayed and danced before I gave in and hugged him tight. I looked up at the boy who I got to call mine and kissed him under the darkened lights. He kissed back. The night ended like no other. Just the two of us. Happy, safe, and enchanted. Always and forever.
