Always and Forever 2- Will Byers x FEM Reader (Season 3)

“Drive! Drive!” Mike screamed as we had all shut the doors.

So she did. Nancy sped away as fast as possible. I grunted and cried in the back of the car as Will and I both held our hands over my stomach to try and stop the blood from seeping out. 

“T-The sup-permarket.” I choked out.

“Go to the nearest store!” Will cried out to Nancy who nodded.

When we arrived, Jonathan came to the back and lifted me out before going to the doors of the store which Nancy had opened by throwing a rock through. I was carried through the aisles to the medical aisle. Jonathan laid me down and lifted my top so they could see the scratches on my abdomen. Nancy worked on El’s leg while Jonathan worked on me.

Max came over and helped Jonathan. I had no idea what she was really saying, I could really feel the pain. It was like that night in the fields last year only physical and more life threatening. 

“Go get a washcloth and a bowl.” I heard her tell Lucas after Nancy and JOnathan had run off to find water.

Moments passed that just left me, Will, Mike, and El in the aisle. If Will and I talked to each other, they wouldn't be able to hear.

“Does it still hurt?” he asked. 

“Yeah. Not as bad as it did a few minutes ago, but it stings.” I mumbled a reply. 

“I'm glad it didn't cut too deep,” he said.

“Me too.” I nodded, “But I'm never gonna be able to wear a cropped shirt ever again.”

“Why not?” he asked.

“Because people will see the scars.” I said, “They’re ugly.”

“No.” he said as he set his hand upon mine, “They prove how strong you are. You should be proud of them. Plus, they’ll make you look even more badass.”

“Bullshit.” I giggled.

“No, no really!” He said, “They’re cool. I promise.”

“Thank you.” I smiled, “Hey, I-I’m sorry. For everything. I don't know why I was mad, or why I said any of those things to you.”

“Don't be.” he said, “I was being too strict like you said. You deserve some freedom after everything you've been through and I shouldn't be the one to stop you.”

“Thanks.” I grinned and went to sit up, “Fuck.” I grunted from the pain.

“Be careful.” he said as he gently helped me sit up straight. 

The second I sat up, I saw Mike jump at the walkie talkie that sat in the middle of the two couples. 

“Dustin?!” I beamed as I heard the voice.

Mike and him tried to talk to each other as fast as possible on the radio but all of a sudden, Dustin’s voice cut out completely. I let out a sigh as everyone got back with what they needed and began to patch El and I up.  I got a long bandage wrapped around my abdomen which stopped the bleeding and cut out some of the pain. I was able to stand and walk now.

The four of us let out a sigh of defeat before hobbling our way over to the freezer section. Max opened all of the freezer doors and all of us sat around El, who blindfolded herself with a bandana. She sat there, with blood dripping down her nose as she entered the void once more. We all sat silent until Lucas cracked open a can of soda.

“Quiet.” Max whispered to him.

“Oh, sorry,” he said before taking a sip.

“How do you even drink that?” Mike asked from beside me.

“Because it's delicious.” Lucas answered.

“What?” Max and Mike gasped.

“It's like Carpenters The Thing. The original is a classic, no question about it. But the remake….” he sipped it again, “Sweeter, bolder… better.”

“You're insane.” Mike said.

“So, you prefer the original Thing?” he asked.

“What? No I'm not talking about The Thing I'm talking about the new coke.” Mike responded.

“It's the same concept dude.” Lucas replied.

“Uh, actually, it's not the same concept.”

“It is the same concept.”

“No it's not.”

“Yes it is!” Lucas yelled which caused El to rip off her mask.

“Hey!” She stopped them.

“Sorry.” Mike said.

“Sorry.” Lucas repeated.

“Did you… find him?” Mike asked.

“The movies.” she mumbled as we all stood up and began to exit with an entire cart filled with… fireworks? Will had his arm around my waist to help me walk as he carried a basket of fireworks in the other.

“The movies?” Lucas asked, “Dustin’s all freaked out about the gate, and he decides to go watch a movie? Yeah, it makes total sense.”

“You're positive he said “gate” and not “great”?” Max double checked.

“Yeah, like, “This movie I'm watching is great.” Will said.

“Sounded like a gate.” El corrected.

“Which would explain how the mind flayer is still alive.” Mike suggested.

“Yeah, we just have to shut it again.” I said.

“Then the monster dies.” Will end.

“But, if not, we always have Lucas’s fireworks.” Max added.

“Keep mocking my plan Max, keep mocking it. I wanna hear you say it again, because you keep doubting me. You keep doubting me!” he repeated, which made me roll my eyes.

“Ridiculous.” she sighed.

“Will?” he began, “We’re gonna prove 'em wrong right?”

“You're gonna prove me wrong aren't ya?” I asked Will with a giggle.

“Mhm.” he hummed in my ear before we locked ourselves in the car with the loads of explosives.

We drove and drove until we made it to the mall. With everyone's help, we managed to get everyone and everything inside just in time to save someone else. From the second floor’s railing, we noticed a group of men, dressed in all black with guns, creeping towards a counter. On the other side of the counter were a group of four people. Steve, Dustin, Lucas’s sister, and Robin. I immediately stepped forward and looked around the room. Lifting out my hand, I made a car display’s alarm go off which made the men turn their heads to determine the sound. As they looked up to see me, I sent the car flying right at the men. They obviously got smashed. 

The four of them stood in awe and looked around to find the culprit of the flying car, and their eyes finally landed on me and the group of people who ran up behind me. We all climbed down the escalator to meet our friends who were also sprinting towards us.
