Taylor was going on and on about something the girl didn't care about. She swears her best friend cares more about how they look on the court than how they play. But who was the girl to judge, for all the talk Taylor does, she is a hella of a good volleyball player.

Without her amazing setting skills, Briella wouldn't have the season she had.

"Brie? Are you listening?" The girl felt a nudge on her shoulder. She turned to her left and looked at her friend.

"Yes Tay. I'm so excited about our new uniforms." The girl rolls her eyes and closes her locker as they continue their walk to Belly.

Taylor rolls her eyes. "Your sarcasm is noted. But hey is it a crime I want us to look good when we win?"

"I guess not."

"Anyways, I made us these matching crop tops. They're pink obviously and I got a bunch of new kneepads."

"Let me guess? They're pink too?"

"Oh hahaha, very funny Brie." They stopped at Belly's locker who was getting books out of her locker. "Hey Bells. It's not too late to sign up for volleyball camp, you know."

Unlike Briella, Belly took a break from volleyball. The girl didn't blame her best friend. She was going through her own stuff too.

Before the girl could respond, they all heard some yelling coming their way. Before she knew it, she felt a hand around her shoulder.

"Oh high school is over bitches!" Steven screams.

"You're such a clown Steven." Taylor rolls her eyes at the boy.

"Can't blame him. Ever since he got into Princeton, he had to brag about it every single day." Briella said.

"Are you going to Princeton? That's so cool, I couldn't tell." Taylor sassed back gaining a hair ruff from Steven.

Oh they are so cute!

"Oh you couldn't tell?" Steven said to the girl as he pointed to his Princeton shirt. "I love you too."

"Yo, yo, yo."

The girl felt another hand around her shoulder. What is up with people putting their hands on her shoulder today?

"Spike what's up man?" Steven said doing their little bro handshake.

"What time's the grad party tomorrow man?"

"The band comes on at 10:00. I'm dating the singer." Taylor said, smiling.

"Uh yeah the Machine Gun Kelly wannabe." Steven said, clearly jealous. "I tried to veto him from playing, but I guess we couldn't find anybody cheaper."

Taylor flipped Steven off and turned to Belly and asked if she was going to the party.

"So how about you Brie? You coming too?'

"We'll see." The girl said, trying to ignore the very strong smell from Spike. Did the boy not know what deodorant was?

"Oh c'mon. Since when does Briella Swift miss parties?"

"Spike..." The girl warned the boy.

"C'mon, save me a dance." Spike was an idiot for not noticing how uncomfortable Briella was. Boys can be so stupid. Thankfully there are some who are smart.

"Bro, stop ok. If she doesn't want to go, she doesn't have to go. Now get your hands off her." Steven said, swatting Spike's hand off the girl's shoulder.

"Oh wait are you two?" Spike said, pointing from Briella to Steven. "Like together. No wonder why I see you together like 99% of the time."

"And if we are?" Steven challenged.

"Bro, I just..." Spike said putting his hands up in defense.

"Bye Spike." With that the boy left.

"Thanks Steven." Briella smiled at the boy.

"Anything for you Brie." The girl said pulling the boy in a hug.
