Astrid stared at him, seemingly at a loss for words.

"Well, we do know where to get boars." Fishlegs said, looking at the bright side.

"I think it should be a place to heal if we ever get hurt. You never know what's gonna happen when we're out here on our own." I told them my thoughts.

"Yeah, but it needs more boars."

"That makes since."

Everyone got cut off when Toothless fired a blast.  We all looked at Hiccup, "Oops, sorry about that. Okay, so, now that we have your attention, we really need to set up camp for the night."

"Wait, what about the-" Tuff tried to say.

"Ag-da-da-da! We'll talk about the dragon outpost design in the morning. For now, someone needs to get the water." Hiccup shut them up.

"Ugh. I don't know about you, but I like whiney Berk Hiccup way better than Princess Outpost Hiccup." Snotlout said.

I giggled softly, "Couldn't agree more."

"I know, right?" Astrid glanced at me and smiled.

I sat at the edge of the water, watching as the moonlight glistened off of it.

I always loved water and thought it to be very beautiful. My name means 'leaping water' except my version is spelled differently.

Sapphire was sitting with the others around the camp fire, leaving me all alone. Just me and my thoughts. I slightly hummed to myself as I thought.

I thought about Astrid. About how much I loved her. It hurt knowing that my brother could have what I wanted most, her love.

It hurt so much that warm tears started to flow down my face. I didn't try to stop them, no one was around, why should I?

And I guessed I jinxed it because immediately after I thought that, I heard footsteps.

I turned to see Ruff and quickly tried to wipe my eyes. "Hey, Tu."

"Hi." I croaked.

"It's about Astrid isn't it?" She guessed.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Well, you don't cry often so I just guessed it was about her." She explained.

"Yeah..."

"She loves you." I rolled my eyes.

"No. She loves Hiccup." I corrected.

"Whatever." She got up and walked away.

After I let my tears dry and I looked somewhat presentable a joined the others.

"Hey."

"Where were you?"

"Hi, Tu."

I sat down and leaned against Sapphire.  Astrid immediately moved closer to me, our shoulders slightly touching.

I was thankful for the dim light because I knew my face had become more red at the close proximity.

I fiddled with my dagger for a few minutes until Toothless looked up.

"What is it, bud?" Hiccup asked his best friend.

"I'll tell you what it is." Tuff interjected. "Rats. Rats the size of yaks. No, it could also- Is it yaks the size of rats?  Yakrats! Ha ha ha. Boy, those would be adorable. No, no, I know what it is. It's yaks the size of dragons. Right, Toothless? You feel me, 'T'?" Tuff ranted.

In response, Toothless just groaned and laid his head back down.

"There's no such thing as yaks the size of dragons." Fishlegs told the boy.
