Talulahh's POV

The next month was pretty fun, despite having broken ribs, which were now healed. My burn had healed as well, but it left a scar that I didn't particularly like.

In the meantime, I had been helping my brother invent something for the two of us, but that's a secret for now.

Something else that's a secret is Astrid and I's relationship. I'm still surprised that she actually loves me.

"Where were you?" Astrid mumbled into the crook of my neck.

"Hiccup's hut." I truthfully told my girlfriend. Girlfriend. The word makes me giddy inside.

"Why?" She asked. I never told her about our secret invention. She would learn about it soon.

"Can't I spend some quality time with my brother?" I tease, releasing Astrid from our hug.

She punched my shoulder, "You know what I mean."

"Do I?" I put a finger to my chin to pretend like I was thinking.

"You're impossible." Astrid muttered.

Just then, Hiccup opened the door to my hut. Astrid and I instinctively stepped away from each other.

Hiccup didn't seem to notice, though. "It's time." He grinned at me. "Come on. I've already gathered the others."

"Okay, let's go." I smiled and grabbed my girlfriend's hand, the friendship bracelet on my wrist jangling.

Chip

"Yes, Chip, you can stay home." I spoke before running out of my hut.

We got to the top of the large cliff, and everyone was panting. "Okay, Hiccup, Talulahh, you dragged us all the way up here." Astrid panted out.

"Now, what is it that you have to show us? It better involve food or destruction. Or a combination of the two." Tuff said. I really don't want to know what the combination would be.

"I bet you're all wondering why we brought you here." Hiccup stated the obvious. "The answer is. to show you our latest invention. Presenting..." We both pulled out our almost identical pair of wings. "The Dragon Fly One." The only difference was that Hiccup's was red and had a Night Fury on it. Mine was light blue and had a Death Song on it.

My brother started to flap the wings a little bit. "Ah, ah." He said. A gave him a look, which he didn't see, before smiling at the others. They all gave unimpressed stares.

Tuff held up Chicken. "The chicken is not amused." She clucked in agreement.

Hiccup fully opened his and started to move it around. "You almost hit me." I hissed, ducking out of the way.

"What are they?" Snotlout asked.

"They're flight suits." I answered. "And I even helped make them." I was very proud of myself for that.

Everyone stayed quiet. "Don't all applaud at once." Hiccup deadpanned.

"I don't need to remind you two that we already have flying dragons. Why would we ever need a flight suit?" Fishlegs scratched Meatlug's head.

"Well, what if we were to get separated from our dragons mid-flight?" Hiccup put his flight suit on his body, I did the same. "We might need to solo fly until we can catch up with them again."

"When this doesn't work, and clearly will not, can I have Toothless and Sapphire?" Snotlout cheekily asked.

I scoffed, "As if Saph would ever want to live with someone like you."
