The next morning I learned that Heather had locked up the other riders' dragons and went after Dagur in the night.

"I'm sorry I locked up your dragons." She apologized. "I just didn't trust that you guys would let me go after Dagur."

The twins nodded and Fishlegs said, "Trust does need to be earned with people and dragons."

"Thanks for understanding, Fishlegs." Heather tucked a strand of raven hair behind her ear. I sense something between these two.

"I don't really trust these guys either." Snotlout joined in. I rolled my eyes.

"We can hear you." Astrid told the boy.

"Jealousy is an ugly quality, Astrid. But clearly I understand where it comes from." He gave a smug smirk. The blonde groaned and covered her mouth.

Hiccup ignored the boy. "The point is, we have your back, Heather. You're one of us."

"Yeah, I stocked Windshear's stable with buckets of sea slugs." Fishlegs addded.

Snotlout grimaced before smirking, "And I made room for you in my hut."

I scoffed. "Okay, there, buddy, that's where you're gonna stop."

"Even though you were the rogue dragon rider and you sabotaged our dragons and you snuck away in the night. Wait, why do we like you again?" Tuff pointed at Heather.

The girl sighed, "I'm truly sorry, Tuffnut."

Tuff backed up. "Woah! That was...sincere. What am I supposed  to do with that?" He started to hyperventilate. "I'm feeling a little bit flushed and overwhelmed. Little help here? People!"

Ruff groaned, "Ugh! Help yourself!"

Fishlegs continued, "And if you need any help with Windshear-"

Snotlout cut him off, "Why don't I show you around the Edge. I'm basically chief."

I rolled my eyes. Basically chief? He can barely even walk straight, let alone be 'basically chief'.

"Uh, thanks, guys, really-"Heather started to back away. I could tell she was getting overwhelmed.

"Hey, glad you're back. Your dragon rocks." Ruff told her.

Astrid grabbed her arm, "Let's go have some girl time."

"Good idea."

"Oh, oh, oh! Come on, Tu. We're gonna have our own girl time." Ruff started dragging me away.

I laughed as I waved by to Astrid and we went in separate directions.

"Let's make friendship bracelets." Ruffnut offered as we walked down the beach.

I stopped in my tracks. "Friendship bracelets? I never took you as a jewelry type of girl."

She grabbed my hand an continued walking. "I'm not." She shrugged. "But you're one of my best friends, so, I thought it be nice to do that."

I grinned, "Aww. Just for me?" I teased.

She rolls her eyes. "Don't make me change my mind."

"I wont. I won't." I held up my hands defensively.

She picked up a few seashells. "I think we should put these on them. I feel like Scauldy would like them, too."

"I remember Scauldy." I smiled. "It's nice that you still think of him. Seashells it is."

We started to pick up the shells until we had enough for our bracelets. "I wonder what Astrid and Heather are doing." I pondered out loud as we walked back to my hut.
