"Oh man this is huge!" Randy proclaimed looking out over the small mass of people, swarming Chief Hartley at a podium.

"Guys look, its Gale Weathers.." I said pointing at the woman with awful highlights. A distinct tone of disgust in my voice. I looked back at Sidney.

"What?" She questioned.

"You heard me, Gale Weathers." I half teased.

"Star of the Gale Weathers press conference. Author of the press conference starring Gale Weathers. Soon to be a major motion picture starring Gale Weathers." Randy added, teasing both Sidney and Gale.

"Be kind, she saved our lives." Sidney dictated.

"Barely," I shrugged.

"Hey check it out, calf implants!" I laughed, starting to clutch my ribs. No fucking way, calf implants? Do you want to look like my father?

"No way!" Randy exclaimed, joining in on my laughter.

"I'm gonna get a closer look!" Randy said before jogging towards the mass. I just sighed and rested my head on my crossed arms, on a brick wall. I heard Derek, Sidney and Hallie talking, before being abruptly stopped by an annoyingly familiar voice.

"Hello girls!" Lois, a Delta Lamba sister, greeted. She stood hand in hand with Murphy, another Delta Lamba sister.

"Oh hello sister Lois! Sister Murphy!" Hallie exclaimed, excitedly.

"Hi pledge! Hello, Y/n, Sidney." Spoke Murphy. Sidney and I shared twin 'Hello''s.

"This must be hell for you both!" Murphy exclaimed, empathetically.

"We manage." Sidney said, dismissively. Thank you girl.

"To think that this fest is about you two! Not directly of course, but in some six degrees of Kevin Bacon way." Murphy said with an underlying tone of excitement.

"So girls, I trust you are both coming to our little martini mixer tonight?" Lois questioned.

"I don't think-" Sideny started to say before being interrupted by Hallie.

"We'll be there!" Hallie exclaimed excitedly, cutting Sidney off.

"Oh good, cause we have our eyes on you two. The Delta Lambda's are very sensitive to your plight and if you need anything just call! TTYL!" Lois explained before dragging Murphy away.

"Are you gonna start dressing like that once you get it?" Mickey asked me playfully.

"Not a chance, and hey- when did you get here?" I spun on my heel to meet Mickey's eyes.

"Besides, the Delta Lambda's are the biggest bunch of fucking-" I began turing my back towards Mickey.

"Hey! I'm pledging Delta Lambda!" Hallie exclaimed, cutting me off.

"Oh my god.." Sidney exclaimed, standing up. The group went silent as we followed where she was looking.

"Dewey?!" I exclaimed, as we both started to jog towards the man.

"Who's that?" Derek questioned, receiving only a shrug from Mickey. After we called out his name, Dewey's attention shifted to us. I ran and practicality fell into Dewey's embrace, before Sidmey joined the now group hug.

"Dewey! What are you doing here?" I questioned the man after pulling out from the hug.

"Oh man, I was so worried about you two. I heard what happened and was on the first flight out here. Can we talk?" Dewey explained. Sid and I nodded as we directed the man towards a worn gazebo, across the quad. Luckily, it was empty

"Things were going fine until now. But uh, theater is going great." Sid explained once we were all situated.

"Hell's yes they are!" I said holding my hand up to high five Sidney, only to receive silence and an odd look from the pair. I put my hand down awkwardly and cleared my throat.

"Uh I mean, Sid's got her first lead role and I'm the assistant director. We will open in two days." I said, looking down, picking at the chipped paint on the picnic table we all sat around. Sidney and Dewwy sat next to each other on the other side of the table. Dewey had his arm placed comfortingly around Sidney's shoulders.

"She's doing so well," I added, trying to fill up the awkward silence.

"That's great!" Dewey said, congratulating us both.

"Yeah, and uh, I'm seeing someone. He's a nice guy." Sid explained.

"No apparent Psychotic Tendencies." I said jokingly, resting my head on the wooden table.

"What about you Y/n?" Dewey questioned.

"I mean other than assistant director, how are you doing? How's Randy? How are... well you two?" He added on. I lifted my head up to greet him.

"I'm doing fine, Dewey. So is Randy, and nothing is going on between us. After Bi-... Them, the intimacy and trust issues kinda make it difficult to be in a healthy relationship. Besides, it hurts him too much." I explained denouncing the idea of us dating. Well I mean, I would love to be with him, it's just too hard.

"I see, well, I was just worried. Look, if there is some freaked out psycho trying to follow in Billy Loomis' footsteps, you probably already know him, or her, or them. They're probably already in your life." Dewey shared his concern. Sidney and I exchanged worried looks.

"Don't you think we know that Dewey? What are we supposed to do? Crawl under a rock?" Sidney complained.

"No, I'm gonna talk to Chief Hartley and the local police. I'm going to make sure that you are both safe. I'm just gonna hang around if that's ok?" Dewey confirmed.

"Yeah, we'd be honored," Sidney said.

"Alright." Dewey concluded, hugging Sidney goodbye before exiting the gazebo. A little after Dewey left, Derek entered, followed by Randy, Mickey, and Hallie.

"Hey, are you alright? Who was that guy?" Derek questioned Sidney, tilting her chin upwards toward his face.

"An old friend," Sidney said, distracted by her own thoughts.

"Deputy Dewey, Woodsboro's finest. What's he doing here?" Randy asked, budding in, distracting the lovers from each other.

"He's worried, our surrogate big brother." I said, stopping Randy from messing with the two further.

"Wow, nothing like a funeral to bring the family back together." Randy joked.

"Yeah, no kidding." I added on. Mickey chose a spot right next to me on the picnic table, while Hallie leaned against a beam of the gazebo. I rested my head on Mickey's shoulder, exhausted. I have a feeling this is going to be a long day. I sighed before turning my head towards Mickey, who was gazing softly down at me.

"Chief Hartley said the girl was stabbed seven times-" Mickey started before Derek cut him off by saying,

"Shut it. C'mon, lets go." He took Sidney's hand and Hallie followed in pursuit.

"Well, you heard the man," I whispered to Mickey before swinging my legs around my seat and getting up. I stood at the edge of the gazebo looking intently at Mickey, waiting for him to hurry up.

By the time we caught up to the others we saw Sidney talking to- Gale Weathers? And is that fucking Cotton Weary?!? I quickened my pace and stepped in between Sid and the pair, along with the big camera.

"Zip it Gale, she isn't answering any questions." I announced, cutting Cotton off. I held Sidney back with my arm, both of us glaring at Gale.

"Oh Y/n! If Sidney wont share with us, why don't you?" Gale taunted. Sidney was ready to punch the woman. I moved aside and let my friend do just that.

"I'll share with you!" Sidney yelled, smacking the woman with botched highlights. Derek pulled Sidney away.

"Did you get that on film?!" Hallie announced to the cameraman, before we both followed the rest of our friends.
