Continued.
Lilah ran through the halls, ignoring the people's stares and shouts. Yelling her name. Lilah blocked all out it out. She didn't want to hear their lectures.
The door to Doctor Paige's room swung open and came in running Lilah. She was having a mental breakdown. She couldn't breathe and kept on crying.
"Is it true!" Lilah yelled at the woman. Doctor Paige stared back at the girl with an unreadable expression.
"Please, tell me it's not," Lilah pleaded. She couldn't believe it. It must've been a cruel prank that Teresa was pulling on her. It had to be.
The doctor moved forward, "It's true," She responded, blankly. Not an ounce of care. Nor any sympathy.
Lilah froze. Why was the doctor acting so cold? Why was she being heartless? Then it hit. Like a bullet threw Lilah chest. It's hot metal in her chest, taking the her breath away. Killing her very slowly.
"You did this?" She asked, unsure if what she thought was the truth or just apart of her imagination.
The woman stayed quiet.
"You did this!" Lilah yelled on the top of her lungs," How could you! H-How..." She leapt forward and attacked the doctor. Hitting her, swinging her arms in every direction. Pure anger and rage took over Lilah.
Guards rushed to the scene and tried to pull Lilah off of the woman.
"Murder! Murder! You killed him!" The guards dragged Lilah off and threw her across the floor, immediately helping the older woman. Lilah forced her self up. Used every ounce of strength to continue.
"You're a coward!" She cried out loud. The doctor blinked a few times. Was she sorry? Did she regret it? No. No, she didn't.
"I did what I had too! To protect WICKED!"
"From what!" Lilah questioned as she waved her arms in the arm aggressively.
"We need you. And he was holding you back." The doctor walked across the room and stood a few feet away from Lilah. She stared at the shaking girl. "I would do it again. If that meant we were closer to a cure."
"We aren't! Why can't you see that? There's no cure! There will never be one!"
"With our research we will find it. This is all we have been working for. You were doing so well the past month. I know you can do it, Lilah."
Lilah was disgusted by WICKED. She hated her. She hated that woman. Her hatred growing stronger every minute the woman continued to speak.
"How many people have to die til we find a cure?" She spoke calmly, "How far are you willing to go?" It was a genuine question.
"Til I cross the line."
With that Dr. Paige snapped her fingers and the guards clamped onto Lilah as she tried to fight her wya out of their grasp. She yelled and yelled, cursing their names. For Toby.
For the boy who was brutally murder.
A Year Later
The day arrived sooner than expected. Fifth of October. Celebrating WICKEDS new achievements and encouraging others to play by its rules.
Lilah was gifted the wonderful task of saying a speech in front of hundreds of Doctors, Scientists, Childern, Families, etc. The whole thing will be broadcasted as far as it goes.
"One job. You'll be the face of WICKED. The people will believe and if they don't then there will consequences." Doctor Ava Paige went over the days schedule. She carefully planned it out from the minute Lilah woke up, up to when she went to bed.
Lilahs wrist were scratched from the metal chains around them. The chain being connected to a metal table. Very uncomfortable.
The doctor threw a piece of paper on the table and Lilah hesitated before slowly picking it up with her right hand. She unfolded it, after a while of struggling, and read the paper.
At last, Lilah tilted her head back and met the Doctors eyes. Evil. That woman was nothing but EVIL.
"You want me to lie to them?" Lilah breathed out. The paper contained a long speech going over an entire dialogue of what Lilah will say.
"No," The woman shook her head and leaned forward in her chair, "I want you to make them believe. Make them trust you. That's all you have to do."
"Why me? I thought I lost your trust, Doctor. What makes you think I'll do this?"
"Because you want what's best for the people- For the world and if you do this it'll help with a Cure."
Lilah scoffed, "After how many years of trying to make a cure, will you quit?"
"No, no not in my lifetime."
The younger girl smiled, "Then let's pray you don't die any time soon," She sarcastically said.
The doctor was going to respond to Lilah with a snarky comment but a thought came to mind. Death. It wasn't so scary when it's not true. If she faked her death...she wondered if it could help the trial. Help them succeed.
"Thank you," Doctor Ava Paige leaned back in her chair, loosening her tense shoulders before tapping her finger against the table, "You never fail to help me. I've just thought of a great idea." The woman smiled to herself, creepily.
Lilahs grin slowly fell, turning into a look of concern. She was worried. What could be going through that woman's head to make her smile so evil like that. It couldn't be anything good.
Suddenly, Lilah remembered WICKED wanted her to make the people believe. Trust her. So, that is exactly what she'll do. By the end of tonight the whole world would know Lilahs name.

A/N: Sorry for the short Chapter, but I really wanted to add this part.
QOD: Would you rather be able to tell whenever someone is lying or be able to lie to anyone and everyone without ever getting caught?
