it was 10:19 on a friday night. and nelson and dawsin were sitting in a taco bell.
"this shit is gas." nelson spoke as he took a big bite of his taco. "deadass," tucker expressed before picking up her baja blast.
"i'm auditioning for a big role in this new show" the girl looked at the boy who raised his eyebrows.
"wait deadass? you think you'll get it?" he asked excitedly.
"well, they asked me too audition" dawsin smiled knowing that meant she had a pretty good chance of getting it, and this news would shock her boyfriend.
"holy shit! this is crazy" nelson's eyes widened.
"do you think the show will do good?"
"yeah, it's supposed to be like the next big thing. it's got tom holland in it"
"i better be your plus one to those events i know you got." nelson nodded his head, reaching for his nacho fries.
"well no shit-think about how crazy that's finna be. nelson and tucker at an event." dawsin dipped her fry's in cheese.
"i know! we're gonna look so fly bro..matching fits and everything." the blonde passionately thought about the idea of everything.
"we gotta be decked out"
the two just laughed before continuing to eat in comfortable silence.
nelson had an intrusive thought that was weighing on him, so he blurted it, not really caring about what the consequences might be.
"do you love me" he asked simply as he chewed on a fry, making dawsin laugh.
"i suppose" the girl smiled as she wiped sauce off the boys face.
"do you?" nelson asked again, still very calm about everything.
maybe it was because everything was easy when they were together. kinda like, you knew it was right.
or maybe nelson was just like that.
but i like option one better.
"mhm. yeah, i love you" dawsin nodded before taking a sip of her drink nonchalantly.
"i love you too" nelson said before going back to his food, making her laugh in admiration.
dawsin was more then glad she gave him a chance. he was her best friend. and she's very picky about her friends.
especially boyfriends.
