Y/N sighed, her heart heavy with the weight of the situation. "Fine, I won't leave you," she told Macaque, her voice a mix of resignation and determination.

Macaque's eyes lit up with relief and joy. He pulled her into a tight embrace, kissing her deeply, as if sealing her words with his love. "Thank you, Y/N," he whispered against her lips, his voice trembling slightly. "I promise you, if anything bad happens, I'll die for you."

A small smile tugged at her lips as she pulled back to look at him. "You don't have to die for me," she said, trying to keep her voice light despite the fear gnawing at her insides.

"Of course I do," Macaque replied with a soft chuckle, his eyes gleaming with affection. "I'm your husband, after all."

Her cheeks flushed a delicate pink at the word "husband," and Macaque laughed, unable to resist teasing her a bit. He caressed her face gently, his thumb brushing over her heated skin. "You're so cute when you blush," he teased, making her blush even more.

"Stop it," she murmured, though she couldn't help but smile at his playful nature. Despite everything, he always knew how to make her feel safe, to make her smile.

Macaque's expression grew a bit more serious, though the love in his eyes remained. "I'm going to go by your place to grab some of your things," he told her.

Y/N's smile faded, worry creasing her brow. "Are you sure you should go? Wukong is still acting crazy..."

"I'll be quick," Macaque assured her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "You need your things, and I won't let him touch you. Trust me."

She hesitated but eventually nodded. "Okay... just be careful."

"I will," he promised before disappearing into the shadows.

As soon as he was gone, Y/N felt a wave of anxiety wash over her. She hated being alone, especially now, with the looming threat of the Monkey King hanging over them. She wrapped her arms around herself, praying that Macaque would return quickly and safely.

Macaque's POV

Macaque materialized inside Y/N's home, the familiar surroundings bringing a fleeting sense of comfort. But he knew he couldn't waste time. He quickly moved through the rooms, gathering the things that were most important to her: some clothes, personal items, a book she loved, and a few other belongings.

He was just about to finish when he heard a voice that made his blood run cold.

"Sup, bro."

Macaque froze, his muscles tensing as he turned to see Sun Wukong casually leaning against the wall, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Ready for a fight?" Macaque asked, already preparing himself for the worst.

But the Monkey King didn't attack. Instead, he tilted his head, his expression turning almost... thoughtful. "Nah, not today. I was thinking we could make a deal."

Macaque narrowed his eyes, suspicion swirling in his mind. "What kind of deal?"

"A deal to share that precious peach of yours," Wukong replied, his voice laced with dark amusement.

Macaque felt a wave of disgust wash over him. "You want to *share* a human being?" he spat, his revulsion clear.

Wukong just smiled, completely unbothered by Macaque's reaction. "Well, yeah. You see, she's too precious to let go, but if you don't agree... I'll just kill her and keep her body like a doll."

A surge of terror and anger pulsed through Macaque. He wasn't scared for himself—he was terrified for Y/N. This was exactly what he had feared, what he had hoped to avoid. And now, he was cornered, trapped by his love for her and the darkness of his past.

"Kill me instead," Macaque said, his voice rough with desperation. "Leave her out of this. She's innocent, she's pure."

Wukong's smile widened, though there was a coldness in his eyes that made Macaque's stomach twist. "I know," he replied almost sweetly, "and that's what makes her so precious."

Macaque's mind raced. He couldn't let Y/N die, couldn't let her be turned into some lifeless doll. But the alternative... it was unthinkable. Betraying her, sharing her with Wukong, it went against everything he wanted to be for her.

But he had no choice.

"If... if this is what it takes to keep her alive..." Macaque began, his voice barely above a whisper, "then... fine. I'll share her with you."

The words tasted like ash in his mouth, but he forced them out, knowing that he was betraying Y/N in the worst way possible. His heart shattered at the thought, but if it meant she would live, he would endure it.

Sun Wukong's POV

Sun Wukong's grin stretched wide as Macaque agreed. It was exactly what he wanted, though he couldn't deny a part of him still simmered with dissatisfaction. Sharing was never his style—he had always been the one to take what he wanted, no questions asked. But the prospect of keeping Y/N alive, of having her and Macaque both under his control, was too tempting to pass up.

He watched Macaque's torment with a twisted sense of satisfaction. His brother might hate him for this, but Wukong didn't care. All that mattered was that he got what he wanted, and right now, that was Y/N.

"Good choice, bro," Wukong said, pushing off the wall. He knew this was just the beginning, and the thought thrilled him. "But don't think I'm happy about sharing. This is only temporary."

As he vanished into the shadows, a cruel smile tugged at his lips. The game was on, and he intended to win—no matter what the cost.
