VLAD: Return of Dracula

I shiver as I walk down the long familiar hallway. I look around at the displays as I begin to hear whispering.

"Come to me."

"Find me."

"Free me."

"Who's speaking to me?!"I question.

I hear the whispers again, but this time they were harder to understand.

But suddenly they abruptly stopped.

I look up, noticing I was stopped at a large, bolted door. The door did not have a knob, only two large steel rods that were bolted at each end of the door.

There was a singular key hole in the dead center of the door and I step closer to get a better look.

But suddenly something hits the door from inside and I scream as I jump back.

The door was hit again, and again, and again till I see a large dent forming.

I shake with fear as I hear the whispers begin again.

"The key."

"Find the key."

"Free me."

"Find the key"

....

Suddenly I spring up and gasp, instantly noticing I was covered in sweat.

I jump again as I hear loud snoring from besides me. I look over and see Eddie open mouth snoring.

I groan and instantly shove him awake.

He wakes up, startled and looks over at me.

"Whaatt?"he whines.

"Why are you in my bed?!"I ask.

"Mm, my bed was too far."he says, nuzzling into my pillows.

"Get up!"I say, shoving him again.

"Stoopp!"he whines, putting his hand on my face and pushing me back down.

"You stop!"I say, shoving him till he falls off the bed.

"Oww."he groans.

I groan and rub my eyes before turning to my alarm clock, seeing it was nearly time for me to be at the museum.

"Damn it! Why didn't you wake me up!?"I say as I stand up.

He snores in response and I groan as I quickly begin to get dressed.

I shudder as I quickly run up the steps to the museum, seeing Mr. Van Helsing unlocking the doors.

"Ah! Ms. Lilly, how punctual!"He says.

"I'm sorry sir, I would've been here earlier I woke up a bit late."I say softly as I approach him.

"It's quite alright. At least you're on time, eh?"he smiles, opening the doors for me.

As I'm walking past him, I get a strange feeling. Time slows a bit, and I begin to hear whispers again.

"There.."

I look up at Evan slowly and my eyes are directed to his neck.

"The key. Bring me the key..."

I shudder a bit before stumbling into the museum.

"Oh my goodness, are you alright?"Evan says, gripping my arm before I fall.

"Yes. I'm so sorry, I promise I'm fine."I chuckle, wiping my brow as I look back at him.

We lock eyes for a bit and he chuckles.

"Alright, if you say so love."

I feel my cheeks flush and I quickly turn away, hiding my smile.

"...Ms. Lilly, what are you doing after work?"he asks.

I look up at him with confusion.

"Me?.. N-nothing, why?"I question.

"Well, I wanted to talk with you about a new Dracula display."he says, making me smile.

"Really?! How exciting!"I say.

"Yes I figured you'd be more happy about it than I."he chuckles.

"Can we discuss over dinner perhaps?"

I blush again and smile as I nod.

"I'd love to."

"Perfect. See you then love."he says before walking towards the stairs to his office.

I smile and watch as he walks away.

"He totally wants to bone."I hear a familiar voice whisper.

I jump, turning around to see Eddie standing there with my purse.

"How long have you been standing there?!"I ask.

"Long enough to be tired of standing here. You left this in my car."he says placing my purse into my hands.

"Thanks but make yourself known next time, you scared the shit out of me."I say.

"Yea right scaring you is what I live for. Also we're out of tomatoes and eggs, get some on the way back from your date."he says, stuffing a 20 dollar bill into my purse before walking away.

I scoffs and quickly walk towards the start destination for the museum tours.
