VLAD: Return of Dracula

Evan chokes out loudly, gurgling as Vlad looks at him with amusement.

"What's this? You're weak. One of my children? Weak?"Vlad says before turning and looking at the desk top, seeing a familiar black case sitting on it.

"What's that? Lilith."Vlad says, snapping his fingers.

I quickly walk over to the desk, grabbing the case.

He lowers Evan down to where he sits on his knees.

"I-its a s-serum."Evan chokes out as I hand him the open case.

"A serum, hm?"Vlad smirks as he looks deeply into Evans eyes.

"What does it do?"

Suddenly, Evan's eyes begin to glow red and he instantly winces before trying to turn away.

"No!"Evan shouts as Vlad forces him to look back at him.

"C'mon Evan! Just like old days, eh?!"Vlad shouts as Evan begins to scream in pain.

I feel a surge of guilt as he begins bleeding from his eyes.

"Interesting. Very interesting."Vlad says before releasing Evan and allowing him to fall to the ground.

"Lilith, come here. This is fascinating stuff you see, it's a serum that when injected into a young vampire can dull vampirism."Vlad says.

"Very interesting, Master."I say, watching Vlad completely fill a syringe of the serum.

"Yes I thought so as well. But, if a vampire takes too much, it causes a severe, painful and debilitating reaction. Apparently it can paralyze a vampire for up to two years. They've been testing it out."Vlad says, handing me the full syringe and beginning to fill another.

"Vlad, stop this."Evan says, looking up at us with bloody eyes.

"I'll consider it. If you present my wife."Vlad smiles.

"Vlad, i-i know what you're-"

"No. You don't."Vlad cuts him off.

"I, have been rotting under this fucking mansion for 10 years, still alive mind you. I had to listen to your pathetic attempt of wiping my existence from history, waiting for the right feeble minded, vampire obsessed woman to waltz through those doors just so I can trick your mind into thinking someone could actually love you, all so I could be here at my full power on this blood moon to rip your heart out of your chest."Vlad says.

"Look, out there. Do you see my children out there, waiting for my command?"Vlad says, pointing to the mob of vampires outside the window.

"Evan, give him what he wants."I say, folding my arms.

"Yes, or I'll feed you to them when you're paralyzed from this serum."Vlad says.

"Okay, okay."Evan says, quickly scurrying over to the desk.

He sighs as he quickly types in a combination on the desk.

Suddenly, the desk let's off the sound of compressed air, and slowly splits down the middle.

Vlad quickly walks over to the desk as it splits and reveals Melanie laying peacefully inside.

"My god. Melanie, my love."he says, his hands coming to the glass.

"Why does she look like this? You've been feeding her haven't you, you sick fuck."Vlad says.

"No. It's the desk, it keeps her preserved. I...I couldn't watch her rot."Evan says.

Vlad shakes his head, balling his fist.

He slams his fists into the desk and the glass cracks.

He does it once again, and the glass shatters.

He quickly picks her up, bridal style and carries her over to a chair, sitting with her.

"She's as beautiful as the day I lost her."Vlad says, stroking her unconscious face.

He then looks up at me.

"Bring me the assistant."he demands.

"Yes master."I smile, walking out of the room.

....

"Vlad, you have to understand, i-i couldn't -"Vlad cuts Evan off with an evil stare.

"You couldn't what, vermin?"Vlad says, causing Evans lip to quiver.

"I couldn't let her go."

Vlad scoffs, brushing Melanie's hair behind her ear.

"I bet. She's going to enjoy watching you die."Vlad says.

Suddenly, Scarlett, Evan's assistant is shoved into the room, her mascara running down her face.

"Evan, what's happening?"she whimpers.

"Scarlett I'm sorry, it-"

"Enough. Come."Vlad says, raising his hand.

Suddenly Scarlett is lifted into the air and instantly rushed over to Vlad.

Suddenly, Evan hears screaming from outside.

He quickly stands, running towards the window.

He instantly sees Vlads new horde attacking humans that were coming to the red moon celebration at the museum.

"Fucking Christ. They're slaughtering them!"Evan shouts.

"As it should be."Vlad says, picking up Scarlett's wrist and biting it, causing her to scream as she floats before him.

He allows the blood from her wrist to drip on to Melanie's lips.

"There you are, drink up my love."Vlad says as Melanie's eyes begin to twitch.

"For God's sake Vlad, stop them!"Evan shouts.

"Sh sh sh."Vlad says, holding up a finger towards Evan as Melanie begins to slowly drink Scarlett's blood.

"There we are. You must be starved, my love."
