BFB Oneshots (REQUESTS OPEN)

This was requested by @Cookiechop_2021.
Also this takes place after TPOT ends, and is an AU.

Basketball's POV

As soon as I'm done congratulating Pin on her win, I run straight to Four.
"Four, can you release the people stuck inside of you?"
"Who?"
"You know exactly who!"
"Oh, them. Fine..."
As soon as I see 8-Ball, I run up to him.
"8-Ball!"
"Hold on, I'm out? Where am I?"
"I missed you!" I exclaim as I nuzzle him. "Our team needed a leader, but I was never as good..."

8-Ball's POV

Usually I don't like signs of affection, but with Basketball it's different. She's got tons of energy, and it instantly makes me feel better. I want to stay there, but Golf Ball calls her.
"Basketball! Robot Flower is slamming her face on the table again!"
"Oh for hoops' sakes! I'll be there in a second! I'll be back..." she says, almost as if she was flirting with me. I blush.

Basketball's POV

While I'm fixing RF, Golf Ball asks me about 8-Ball.
"When are you going to tell him?"
"Tell who about what?"
"You know exactly what I mean..."
"Look, I bet he doesn't even like me back, so it doesn't matter. It's just a small crush anyways."
"Well, there's a high probability that 8-Ball likes you back. He wouldn't let Grassy even hug him, let alone nuzzle him..."

8-Ball's POV

I need to talk to Basketball right now. I can't keep it inside me for much longer. I go up to Golf Ball's door, but I can hear them talking and my heart stops.
"Look, I bet he doesn't even like me back, so it doesn't matter. It's just a small crush anyways."
"Well, there's a high probability that 8-Ball likes you back. He wouldn't even let Grassy hug him, let alone nuzzle him."
What. She likes me? I did not see that coming. I shout through the door.
"Basketball, may I talk to you?"

Basketball's POV

Shoot. Did he hear us talking? I sure hope not, because that would be completely humiliating. I close the door behind me as I turn to 8-Ball.
"So what did you want me for?"
"First of all, is there something up? You look a bit... weird..."
"No, no. Everything's fine."
"OK, well, I heard what you said to GB in there."
I can tell Basketball is really shocked. Her eyes widen, and she eventually looks away.
"I-I know you don't feel the same, so I won't bother asking you out, but-" I'm interrupted, but in the best way possible. He kissed me.
I closed my eyes and we stay there for about two minutes. Don't ask why I count. After he pulls away, he asks, "So when's the first date?"
I'm about to reply but before I do, he rolls off.

I'm soooooo sorry this one's a bit late, it's just that school started on yesterday so I couldn't work on this as often.
