The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Wade stirred, blinking awake to find himself tangled up in the sheets with Peter, their bodies still pressed close together. Last night felt like a beautiful dream, but the warmth of Peter beside him reminded him it was real.

Wade sighed contentedly, turning his head to find Peter still asleep, his face relaxed and serene. Wade's heart swelled with affection as he took in the peaceful expression on Peter's face. He gingerly untangled himself from the sheets, careful not to wake Peter, and slipped out of bed, stretching as he stood.

In the soft light of the morning, Wade moved around the apartment, his thoughts a jumble of emotions. He started a pot of coffee and went about his usual morning routine, but everything felt different, tinged with the euphoria of last night. His mind kept drifting back to Peter, to the way he felt in his arms, the way they had made each other feel.

Peter eventually stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he stretched out with a soft groan. He looked around, taking in the familiar surroundings of Wade's apartment, and then his gaze settled on Wade, who was standing by the kitchen counter, his back turned.

"Morning," Peter's voice was still thick with sleep, but there was a warmth in it that made Wade's heart skip a beat.

"Morning," Wade replied, turning to flash Peter a smile. "Coffee's almost ready."

Peter pushed himself up from the bed, running a hand through his disheveled hair as he made his way to the kitchen. He wrapped his arms around Wade from behind, resting his chin on Wade's shoulder. "You're up early. Can't say I'm complaining, though."

Wade chuckled, leaning into Peter's embrace. "Can't let you have all the fun, can I?"

As they moved through their morning routine—Wade preparing coffee and Peter heading for the bathroom to freshen up—the air between them was light and easy, filled with the comfortable intimacy that came from their newfound closeness. They joked and laughed, the earlier tension of uncertainty now replaced with a sense of hapiness.

Eventually, they sat down together at the small kitchen table, sipping their coffee and enjoying a simple breakfast. Wade glanced at Peter, a question forming on his lips. The thought had been nagging at him all morning, and he finally decided to voice it.

"So," Wade began, his voice hesitant, "what are we now?"

Peter looked up, his expression thoughtful. He put his cup down and reached across the table, taking Wade's hand in his. "What do you want us to be?" he asked softly.

Wade's heart raced at the question. He'd spent so long dreaming about this moment, about what it would be like to have Peter in his life, to be with him in this way. The uncertainty of last night was still fresh in his mind, and he wanted to make sure they were on the same page.

"I want..." Wade's voice faltered as he searched for the right words. "I want us to be together. To be more than just friends, more than just..."

Peter squeezed Wade's hand, his gaze steady and filled with affection. "Then that's what we'll be. I want that too."

A smile spread across Wade's face, and he leaned in, resting his forehead against Peter's. Peter's eyes were soft as he looked at Wade, and he cupped Wade's face with his free hand.

"You're my boyfriend, Wade," Peter said, his voice thick with emotion. "I love you so, so much. I just want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want you to be the one day I'll call my husband. I want you to stay with me until I'm in the grave. I- I just want you. Want you to kiss and hug me and make love to me a billion more times. If the world was ending, I'd want to be next to you."
