20. Snowy Adventures...Again

"The Dragon Eye used to belong to the Hunters." Hiccup stated. "They must know they need a Snowwraith tooth to make it work."

"Who cares?" Snotlout asked. "All it means is that they arent coming our way."

"Which means, if they do get their own key, they'll be coming for he next." Hiccup got that annoying look of determination in his eyes.

"Please tell me you're not thinking what I think you're thinking." Astrid said.

"Oh, he's thinking." Ruff said.

"That's definitely his thinking face." Tuff added.

"We can't let that happen. Get a good night's sleep, gang. We leave for Glacier Island at first light." Hiccup said the thing we were all thinking he was thinking.

I knocked on Hiccup hut. "Yes?" He asked.

"What are we gonna do about Dahlia?" I asked. "She's not trained enough for one of our missions."

"You're right." Hiccup agreed. "I guess she can stay here."

"Ok. I'll go tell her. She looked like she'd seen a ghost when you said we'd leave at first light." I laughed. "It was hilarious."

"Hey, be nice." Hiccup warned.

"Yeah, yeah." I walked away towards Astrid's hut. I knocked on the door. "Can I help you?" The redhead asked.

"You're not going on the mission." I said. "You're inexperienced and incapable. Goodnight."

"Oh. Ok, then."

The next morning I got dressed in my winter gear. It consisted of a wolf fur hood and boots. As well as warm gloves. I then put my hair in a braid to keep it out of my face.

"You look cute." Astrid pulled the hood over my head.

I laughed. "I could say the same about you."

"Let's go?" She asked.

Chip was staying home. It was obviously way to cold for him there.

On our trip to Glacier Island, Tuff broke the silence. "Can I ask a stupid question?"

"You sure can!" Ruff said. "Better than anyone I know."

"Thanks you, sister."

"You're welcome."

"Hiccup, are we really trying to protect a dragon, that the last time we saw it, tried to kill us?" Tuff asked his stupid question. "From Dragon Hunters, who every time we see them, try to kill us?"

"And Heather and her dragon." Ruff added. I rolled my eyes as the thought of her. "Don't forget them. They like to try and kill us, too."

"Heather won't be a problem." Astrid said. I looked at her in confusion.

"Why wouldn't Heather be a problem?" Fishlegs asked.

"Just that we...we outnumber her, right?" Astrid said nervously.

"Look, Heather or no Heather, all we have to do is find the Snowwraith first and relocate it to an island where the Hunters won't find it." Hiccup said, determined.

"Oh, that's all?" Ruff asked sarcastically.

"Uh, that's sounds like the sort of 'extremely dangerous' plan I would come up with. And I do not mean that as a compliment." Tuff said.

"I didn't think so." Hiccup said as we neared Glacier Island. "Come on. Let's head over to where we found the Snowwraith last time."

"Oh, you mean where it found us?" Snotlout asked.
