The bakery’s closed Sundays, which gives Jungwon ample time to have an existential crisis.

Here’s the thing: Jungwon has never liked anyone before. Sure, he had that brief thing for Heeseung sophomore year, but that was so embarrassing it doesn’t even count. (Heeseung’s, like, super hot, and Jungwon is only a man, after all.)

Anyways, the point is that Jungwon’s new to this. He never had that phase in highschool where he’d lie awake on his bed, limbs sprawled out and heart racing at the thought of some cute boy in his history class or something. He supposes that this is making up for all that lost time—Jungwon can’t even think of Jay without a flush rising in his cheeks. He might as well doodle “YJ + PJ” in a heart all over his chem notebook, which is currently lying open on the table in front of him, completely neglected.

He doesn’t know where this complete one-eighty came from. Just the other day, Jungwon would’ve sworn he hated Jay’s guts. (Except, now his conversation with Sunoo springs to the forefront of his mind. Maybe ‘sexual tension’ wasn’t too far off from the mark—they say that love and hate are the closest emotions, after all.)

Jungwon lets his forehead hit the table as he groans. His newfound epiphany has made him realize that when Jay’s not acting like an asshole, his more favorable qualities can be appreciated—he’s hot and rich and buys Jungwon things and listens to his incessant complaining and is someone Jungwon’s realized he actually enjoys spending time with.

What the hell is Jungwon supposed to do?
