The next day, I was rushing to school, trying to make it early. After all, I had promised his grandma I'd feed that fat pig some breakfast. I only had time to make a sandwich since I woke up late. Slamming the door of the classroom open, I froze as I caught Sieun staring at me. Realizing I'd disturbed him, I gave a slight, awkward bow before heading over to Sooho, who was peacefully asleep at his desk. Without hesitation, I lightly kicked the table he was sleeping on, making him jerk awake instantly.

Sooho jolted upright, blinking like a confused owl. "What the-why are you kicking me so early in the morning?"

I shoved the sandwich in his face. "Breakfast. Eat it."

He squinted at the sandwich, clearly unimpressed. "Is this your apology for kicking me?"

"No, it's my apology for having to see your face first thing in the morning." I plopped down next to him, watching as he inspected the sandwich like it might explode.

"You're lucky I'm too tired to fight you," he muttered, taking a huge bite. "Where's my coffee?"

I smirked. "I'm not your maid. Get it yourself."

As Sooho grumbled through another bite, I caught Sieun glancing over again, his cold stare making me flinch. Great, now I've embarrassed myself twice in front of him in one morning. Fantastic start to the day.

Sooho noticed my stiff expression and snorted. "Relax, he probably thinks you're as weird as I do."

"Gee, thanks, pig," I muttered, half tempted to kick his table again.

Around lunchtime, I was heading back from the washroom when I spotted Sieun trying to wake up Sooho. Curious, I walked over to them.

"It's lunchtime," Sieun said.

"Right, I'm not hungry," Sooho replied, attempting to go back to sleep.

"It's my treat," Sieun said, immediately catching the boy's attention.

"What's with that face? No thanks," Sooho said, unconvinced. Sieun shot me a clearly annoyed look.

Now, we were all sitting at the same table, eating our food. Sieun had insisted on paying for my meal, despite my many refusals. Meanwhile, Sooho still wasn't pleased, shooting Sieun an unsatisfied look from across the table. "I wasn't expecting much, but I pay for my own meals," Sooho grumbled.

"Then don't eat," Sieun replied, not having any of it.

For a moment, I thought Sooho might actually pass on the meal, but that would be impossible. He leaned in and began scarfing down his food. I wasn't surprised, but Sieun definitely was.

"By the way, why do you sleep at school?" Sieun asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sooho shrugged, "I come here straight after work. If I sleep at home, I won't make it. Plus, my grandma insists I graduate with perfect attendance, even if I don't go to college."

Sieun nodded slightly, clearly not expecting that kind of answer.

"Do you like listening to music? You always have earbuds on," Sooho asked, then added with a smirk, "like an arrogant brat."

I immediately stomped on his foot, shooting him a glare.

Sieun, unbothered, simply replied, "I just can't be bothered to talk to anyone."

"You know you're really weird, right?" Sooho asked, making me look at him in shock. The irony of him saying that!

"You're the one to talk," Sieun shot back, without missing a beat.

Sooho burst out laughing, clearly amused by the comeback.

I had left early to make up for yesterday's missed study session at the library. I might've gotten a little carried away, and now I was rushing to Sieun's house. Finally reaching his place, I knocked on the door.
