"Damn it, you bastard! Think you're smart?" one of the thugs screamed, holding up Sieun’s phone, which had the fake police siren still playing. My heart dropped. "Catch these motherfuckers!" he yelled, tossing the phone aside.

Sooho, still trying to catch his breath, chuckled bitterly. "You fooled us too," he muttered.

We all instinctively backed up, watching as the thugs advanced, anger clear in their eyes. I could feel the tension in the air. We were outnumbered and cornered.

“Fuck,” I whispered under my breath. This wasn’t looking good.

As the thugs closed in, I braced myself, adrenaline coursing through my veins. I could feel the tension in the air, and I knew I had to act quickly. Without a word, I lunged forward, catching the first thug off guard.
With a swift kick to his knee, he stumbled, allowing me to pivot and throw a punch to his jaw. He fell back, surprised, but quickly regained his footing
"Get her!" the second thug shouted rushing toward me. I sidestepped just in time, grabbing his arm as he passed. I twisted, forcing him to the ground, and used my weight to keep him pinned.
The first thug came back, this time swinging wildly. I ducked under his fist and swung my leg, catching him in the stomach and sending him crashing into the wall

Just as I regained my footing, I felt a sudden, sharp pain as a thug's fist connected with my stomach. The force knocked the wind out of me, sending me staggering backward. My back hit the wall, and I gasped, trying to catch my breath.

Before I could regain my consciousness, a dude kicked me in the stomach, making me cough and stumble backward. Suddenly, everyone stopped. I looked around and noticed Sieun with a bruise on his cheek and the leader holding a knife in his hand. What was happening? In no time, the police arrived.
We all raised our hands. Finally, help had come. The leader was trying to talk to the police, holding another thug under his arm. He then shoved the thug toward the officers and ran away.

I felt Sooho help me up, but before I could catch my breath, I saw Sieun sprinting after the thug. "Fuck," Sooho cursed, yelling at him to stop, but it was pointless. Groaning in frustration, Sooho bolted after him. Now it was my turn to shout at both of them to stop, but they didn’t even glance back. "Seriously?!" I muttered.
Why do I have such suicidal block heads for friends.

I ran my hand through my hair, swinging my arms to check if they were fine. Fuck. I followed after Sooho, but this was exhausting, and the pain in my stomach was starting to get worse. Little did I realize I'd been hit by a wooden bat earlier. When I finally caught up, I saw Sieun slam a cement block against the thug's leg while Sooho landed a solid punch, knocking him out cold.

let out a heavy sigh and collapsed onto the cold ground, my body finally giving in. "Is it really over now?" muttered to myself, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle in. Groaning, I gingerly lifted my shirt to inspect the damage. Sure enough, a nasty bruise was already forming where I'd been hit. It throbbed with each breath I took, reminding me just how close I'd come to being knocked out for good.
Laying back for a moment, I tried to catch my breath, but the sound of those two idiots still bickering broke through the quiet.

I rolled my eyes incing from the pain as I tried up. "I'm seriously gonna kill them," I muttered.
