I was about to lean back into the kiss when the doorbell rang.
Sieun didn't even flinch; he kept kissing me like he couldn't care less. I got caught up in the moment too, but then the doorbell rang again.
"Sieun," I said, trying to pull away.
"Yeah?" he mumbled, still refusing to stop.
I placed a firm hand on his chest, creating some space between us. "There's someone at the door."
"Do I look like I give a fuck?" he said, his tone low and lazy as he tried to kiss me again.
As much as this side of him was ridiculously attractive, the door needed answering. I gave him a quick peck to hold him over before slipping away to see who it was.
I opened the door to find Sooho standing there, hands stuffed in his pockets, looking awkward.
"Sooho?" I said, narrowing my eyes. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to apologize," he said quickly. "About earlier. I... shouldn't have just left like that."
Sieun appeared behind me, leaning casually against the doorframe.
"Honestly, I'm still mad. You left in the middle of that mess, and Boemsoek was clearly in the right."
"Youngyi didn't mean any harm!" Sooho shot back, frustrated. "She just-"
"She invaded his privacy," I cut him off. "That's not something you can just brush off, Sooho."
Sieun nodded in agreement. "Exactly. She crossed a line."
Sooho groaned, running a hand through his hair. "Why are you both ganging up on me? I came to apologize, not get into another argument."
"Maybe think things through next time," I said, crossing my arms.
He sighed. "Fine. Be like that."
As Sooho walked off, Sieun let out a low whistle. "That went well."
"Shut up," I muttered, closing the door.
Sieun smirked, wrapping an arm around my waist. "Still mad?"
"Very," I said, shrugging him off. "And you're not helping."
"Fair enough," he replied, but the playful glint in his eye told me he wasn't done pushing my buttons just yet.
As soon as it clicked shut, Sieun turned me around, his hands firmly on my waist. "If one more person interrupts us tonight, I'm locking the door and throwing away the key," he muttered, his lips brushing mine.
I grinned, leaning in. "Maybe you should've done that already."
He didn't need any more encouragement, his lips crashing into mine before I could say anything else.
He kisses you with a fervor that's almost too intense to handle. One of his hands moves to cup your cheek, his thumb gently caressing your skin as his tongue slips into your mouth. He kisses you like he's never kissed anyone before, like he's trying to pour all his feelings into a single kiss. He's desperate, almost feral in his need to be close to you, to taste you, to feel you against him.
Sieun gently pulled me onto the couch, his hands never leaving my waist as he guided me down beside him.
The night was still young, with a lot of mistakes to make.
