READ ME - Authors note and acknowledgement

Hello there! I normally don't write authors notes in my stories but this next chapters is inspired by an AO3 writer that I enjoy, and I wanted to make sure they got the credit they deserve. The specific inspiration I take from this authors story is about the lore of the Addams family. So please go check out 'A Kidnapping By Any Other Name' by RavenMoon33 on AO3!!! Thanks!

[Right after the last chapter]

Enid can't believe what she's hearing. Wednesday can't get enough of her? What does that mean?

Wednesday's ever so blank complexion doesn't help Enid decipher anything further.

"I've cursed you...? Enid asks carefully. Is that a good or a bad thing? Enid has a million questions but no way to ask them.

Wednesday stares into Enid's horribly enticing eyes, "Yes," She states plainly, "All these feelings, they don't make sense. You've clearly changed me. I need to get to the bottom of what's happening."

Oh. Oh.

Of course Wednesday doesn't know how to handle these feelings, she doesn't even know what they are. Enid lets out a sigh of relief. Though she can't be sure, the way Wednesday describes her feelings for Enid seem to match those that Enid feels as well... And as much as she hates to admit it, Enid does have a crush on Wednesday.

Does Wednesday even know what a crush is? She's no idiot but then again, Enid doubts Wednesday would have ever taken the mind space to think about any feelings other than rage and terror.

"You are going to help me figure out how to undo this." Wednesday demands of Enid. There is no way she is allowing herself to become this weak. The only person that matters is herself, anyone else would slow Wednesday down.

Enid almost catches herself chuckle before realizing that would most definitely end in an attack from her already pissed off roommate. Wednesday clearly isn't aware of how little control people get to have of who they fall for. Enid nearly reveals her theory before deciding that it might all be too much. Wednesday is clearly new to all this, Enid needs to go slow... God that will be hard for her.

Now that she's sure- or at least mostly sure that her feelings are reciprocated, Enid has to truly restrain herself from falling head over heels. She can't rush Wednesday.

"So how do you propose I help?" Enid asks.

Wednesday takes a moment to think, tearing her eyes away from Enid's, "I need to see if this disease will go away on it's own... So anything that sparks this sickness needs to be removed..." Wednesday concludes.

Enid frowns, "So that means...?" She knows the answer but doesn't want to admit it. She feels like she's made so much progress with Wednesday and she doesn't want to erase it all.

"You must not come in contact with me again, I can't risk this infection spreading further." Wednesday states. Her face is back to its usual monotone expression.

Enid feels a twinge in her chest. Just as she finally got what she wanted, it's ripped away from her. Enid didn't consider the fact that even if Wednesday did feel the same, it doesn't guarantee that she would accept those feelings.

But Enid is determined to respect Wednesday's wishes. If she ever wants even the slightest chance with her, she can't push. and Even if it meant there was no chance, Enid would still respect her wishes because that's what a friend does. So no teasing... and no touching... This is going to be difficult.
