"What did you say?" Autumn whispered her eyes filling with hope as she stared at Marjorie. The brunette made eye contact with Autumn and sniffled as she said it all again. "I can't help that I fell in love with my best friend. I can't help that I picked the wrong sibling. I can't help that it took me this long to realize it." Marjorie said moving closer to autumn with each sentence. "You're falling in love with me?" Autumn asked hopefully.

"Yes, please catch me." Marjorie said breathlessly. Autumn cupped Marjorie's face and kissed her passionately. This kiss was everything to the duo, they felt every single emotion through this kiss both of them getting butterflies as their lips stayed locked together. Marjorie let out a small moan as she wrapped her arms around autumns neck desperately trying to hold on.

Autumn held her close and giggled in the kiss. "I've got you Marjorie." The brunette whispered when they finally broke apart for air. Marjorie hugged Autumn tightly her face hiding in autumns neck as she inhaled her perfume deeply.

"Autumn" Marjorie whispered as she remembered Reece back home. "What about Reece. I don't think I can face him and watch him turn disappointed in me. He's my best friend" Marjorie said a small tear leaving her eye.

"Would you like me to come with you?" Autumn asked rubbing Marjorie's back gently. "Please" Marjorie said at barely a whisper. The two spent the entire day together talking and laughing in the office, every once in a while they would give each other a subtle glance. Neither could believe that they had made it here.

Once the clock reached 6:30 the two got into autumns car and drove to Reece's house. Marjorie had let him know Autumn was coming, the two woman sat in a tension filled silence in the car. As they approached the door Marjorie took a deep breath, "it's ok Marjorie. It will be fine." Autumn said placing her hand on Marjorie's shoulder.

Marjorie let them both inside and they were immediately greeted with the smiling blonde, "hey gorgeous, hey aut, what's up!" Reece said curiously. The two brunettes glanced at each other before Marjorie finally let out a sigh, "Reece can we go talk in the lounge?" Marjorie said nervously. The blonde nodded in worry as the three went to the lounge.

Marjorie and Autumn sat on the sofa while Reece sat across from them in confusion. "Marjorie what's going on you're freaking me out." He said letting out a nervous chuckle. "I um...." Marjorie said stopping, she wasn't sure she could do this. Autumn placed her hand on Marjorie's lower back to help calm her. The brunette leaned into the touch gently. Reece took notice of this small gesture and the realization hit. He allowed his eyes to pool with tears while he took a deep breath.

"How long have you known?" The blonde asked sadly. Marjorie looked up immediately, she watched as Reece's shoulders were hunched forward as he looked down so she didn't see him cry. "How did you know?" Marjorie is in disbelief. "Anyone can tell just by looking at Autumn that she loves you. And the way you naturally embraced her touch. Marjorie I can see from a mile away you love her too." Reece said a small laugh filling his voice.

Marjorie held her face in her hands. "Reece I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry, I feel like I've led you on these past few months, I'm so so sorry. You're my best friend, I can't lose you, but I understand if you never want to speak to me again." The brunette said as she started to cry heavily. Autumn and Reece both looked at Marjorie sadly.

Reece jumped from his seat and knelt in front of her. He grabbed both her hands that were covering her face and gave them both a small squeeze. "Marjorie, listen to me." He said getting her to look up at him. She sniffled as he continued. "I love you, more than anything in this world. You have changed my life in ways I never expected. But seeing you happy, that's what makes me happy. All I want is for you to be happy marj. Even if that's not with me. The only possible way I'd ever hate you was if you broke my sisters heart." He said trying make her laugh.

It worked as Marjorie let out a small chuckle rolling her eyes. "Marjorie you're my best friend. I'll always be in your life, we can still get drinks, get coffee, eat lunch together when you're free. We still have to co parent Carly together. Nothing will change Marjorie." Reece said reassuringly as he squeezed her hands once more.

Marjorie fell forward into Reece's arms. As she hugged the tall man tightly. "Thank you Reece" she whispered. He hugged the brunette tightly kissing her forehead one last time, "be happy Marjorie. I'm so happy for you and aut" he said smiling up at the brunette over Marjorie's shoulder. "Thank you" Autumn mouthed to her brother. He winked at her before pulling out of the hug.

"You're not mad at me?" Marjorie said nervously. Reece scoffed, "I'm not mad at you Marjorie, I would be mad if you denied yourself happiness. I'll be upset for a little bit but that doesn't change that I love you. I'll even stop by with coffee tomorrow. Like normal ok?" The blonde said with a half smile. "Like normal" Marjorie said nodding.

They hugged goodbye and Reece watched as the two women he loved most walked to autumns car, "hey aut!" Reece yelled before she made it too far. Autumn turned around and looked at the blonde. "Take care of her" he said seriously. "I will big brother." Autumn said with a smile.

Marjorie agreed to go stay at autumns tonight. They had planned to moved Marjorie's stuff back into her apartment over the weekend with Reece luckily she still had access to her apartment so it made things a lot easier. As they made it to autumns house Marjorie looked at the brunette nervously, "Autumn I'm new to this, I don't know much about dating a woman." Marjorie said anxiously. "Marjorie we can take this as slow as you want. There will be no pressure from me. If you're happy and comfortable so am I." Autumn said placing her hand on her leg.

They made it up to bedroom and Autumn grabbed some spare pjs for Marjorie. Once they were settled in bed both women laid on their sides staring at one another. Marjorie leaned in closing the gap giving Autumn a sweet and gentle kiss. "Goodnight" she whispered with a giggle. "Goodnight" Autumn said, closing her eyes feeling at peace with Marjorie next to her.

Marjorie was struggling to sleep, her thoughts roaming to what the staff will think, what the parents will think, and most importantly what her parents and Roger would think. It was time to navigate the tricky parts of life. And she just hoped the two of them could make it.
