Mualani waved happily to the person as they left her shop.
Her gaze quickly snapped to the new person approaching.
"Hello, welcome to the Leisurely Puffer! I'm Mualani! What are you looking for?"
She asked in a joyful voice.
"Uhm... well I'm looking for a surfboard.. my old one broke..."
The girl sighed and rubbed her head
"Aw, I'm sorry. But thankfully, we do have a few surfboards in stock! Any specific color?"
Mualani said as she gestured with her hand to the surfboards leaning on the walls.
"Well, my old one was red—"
"—Red? Aw, that's no good! Citlali told me that I would open a business when I was smaller. And she told me pink and blue would be the shops colors.. and everyone would come. And she was right! So, I think pink and blue are lucky colors. Maybe if you buy a blue of pink colored surfboard instead, you'll have better luck!"
Mualani happily suggested.
The girl hummed in thought.
"Well, it can't be too bad. I'll get a blue one. Thanks."
"Great!! I'll even offer a secret 18% discount! But don't tell anyone, m'kay?"
Mualani giggled and handed the girl the surfboard.

The girl handed her the mora and walked away.

She smiled.
Mualani smiled.

"Well, now that that's over. I need to check on my friends! Maybe I'll get Kachina a gift on the way..."
Mualani said to herself as she flipped the sign around, from open; to closed.
"Alright. First stop, Kachina!"
Mualani cheered as she paced down the path.

Mualani stared at the bandit in front of her.
"Hey, I'm not scared of you... your weapon needs to be sharpened anyway!"
She knocked it out of his hands.

The man exclaimed and looked at her as she leaned closer.
"Say, got any fancy rocks on you?"
Mualani asked.
"My friend loves rocks! And I was wondering if you had any on you..."

He pulled a shiny red rock from his pocket.
"Hm..... some high quality Trishiraite! I'll take it. Here. Use this to get your weapon sharpened!
Mualani handed him a small bag of mora and kept walking.
The man just stared at her, stunned and confused.

Mualani handed the rock of Trishiraite to Kachina.

Kachina mumbled and examined the rock closely.
Mualani laughed and patted her shoulder.

"I'm doing great!! I got invited to a birthday party this weekend!"
Kachina giggled and rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"Good job, Kachina! See, people like you... cheer up more!"
Mualani crouched down to her level.
"I have to go now. But stay strong, Kachina!"

Kachina smiled and stuffed the trishiraite in her pocket.

Mualani smiled softly and slowly left the Children of Echos, and headed towards the Scions of the canopy.
Mualani looked around for a bit and couldn't find him.
"Maybe he is playing hide and seek... oh well. I'll be seeker!"
She laughed and walked around. She checked his favorite hiding spots, his house, and she still couldn't find him.
"Hello! Have you seen Kinich?"
Mualani asked a resident.
"Yes, he had just left the village. He said he had some.. "important business" to attend to."
He responded, scratching his chin In thought.

She smiled and walked down the path.
"I can hear Ajaw! So Kinich is probably nearby...."
Mualani mumbled to herself and followed the voice.

After a while of following the voice, she still couldn't see them..!
"I must be imagining things... well, I'm by my tribe. So I might as well get back to work."
She mumbled and walked back to her shop; The Leisurely Puffer.

She organized a few items in stock before the bell on the counter rang.
"Ah, hello! Welcome to the—"
She blinked as she saw Kinich and Ajaw at her booth.
"What are you guys doing here?"
Ajaw huffed and floated around, becoming red with anger.
"Well, Kinich was being annoying...! And he got concerned when you hadn't shown up on time!!! Ugh... WHY WOULD HE CARE ABOUT SUCH A MILTHY BLUE MAGGOT ANYWA—"
Kinich tossed Ajaw into the pixelated void to shut up.

Kinich muttered and looked at Mualani.

He asked and held it in his hands.

Kinich said and put the money on the counter.

Mualani smiled and put the money in her small register.
"Where are you going to put it?"

He admitted. Staring at it.

He clipped it onto his pants.

Mualani chuckled as he walked away with his hands in his pockets.
"He has been different lately... i wonder if he is okay...?"
She mumbled to herself.
But she smiled when a customer came up to her.
