"Dear Mom and Dad,

I miss you both so much, and I hope everything is going well with the company. You must tell me all about America, how is it like? Have you met any wizards or witches yet?
I hope you two are not burying yourselves in work. Try to go out and have some fun! I got some of the photos you both sent a couple of weeks ago, New York looks like it is an absolutely breathtaking city.

To update you both on a couple of things around here, I've made a list.

1. The Weasleys have been amazing hosts! You guys know this already, but it doesn't hurt to mention it.

2. Yes, I've been helping Mrs. Weasley, whenever I can with any housework.

3. I'm up to Module 6 for my Advanced Potions work.

4. Harry and Hermione stayed here for a while, too. They went home just a couple of days ago, and I already miss them so much. We had a picnic for the last day of their stay, and that was really fun, I introduced everyone to that muggle game dad taught me, chicken!

5. I've befriended a pair of very cheeky redheads. Just kidding, sort of, Fred and George have been lots of fun. We've gotten to hang out a lot recently, and they've also been helping me with my potions studies.

Speaking of those two, I have a favor to ask. Do you think you could send me some muggle prank products? It's for research purposes. Moving on...

6. Ronald, Ginny, and I have been on a streak with Wizards Chest! Mainly Ginny and Ron, those two are quite competitive.

That practically sums up what this summer has been like lately, and I'm running out of room to write. I hope this letter gets to you soon. Please don't forget to write back to me and take care of yourselves. I miss and love you both.

Love, your wonderful daughter, y/n."

You placed your quill down and read over the paper to make sure you hadn't missed anything. When you were sure there wasn't anything else to mention, you folded the parchment and marked it with a wax seal.

You headed downstairs where Ginny was sitting on the couch reading a book, her wand in hand. "Any clue where Errol is?" You asked, referring to the family's owl.

She looked up from her book to the clock on the wall, "He should be arriving soon."

You smiled, "Okay, thanks."

Ginny hummed in response. You made your way to the kitchen to grab a glass of lemonade while you waited.

When you finally sat down, glass in hand and letter waiting to be delivered, Ron walked in.

"Hello!" You chirped.

He nodded, grabbing a glass from the cupboard.

You and Ron have had a weird atmosphere surrounding the two of you since Harry and Hermione left. Almost everyone in the home had noticed. It was so apparent that Arthur, last night at dinner, had asked if everything was okay. You both just nodded.

As of lately, you had been spending most of your time with George and Fred and a bit with Ginny. Ronald wasn't one to immediately confront whatever conflicted feelings he was feeling. So he spent most of his time sulking upstairs in his bedroom. You felt like you've only ever seen him at dinner these past couple of days. You didn't want to worry your parents, a big reason why you didn't mention it in your letter.

Fred and George had recently been giving Ronald a break by not teasing him. They've also been keeping busy with games and work. It was distracting and fun, you acknowledged what they were doing and really appreciated it.
