Fathers POV
The hardest thing to do every morning was get out of bed. I hate having to say goodbye to my two daughters and my lovely wife. However, someone has to support this family, and that someone is me. My spouse and I agreed that she would take care of our children and be a stay-at-home mother.
As I got up from the bed my wife gave a "mmm" as she stirred in her sleep. She muttered a "good morning, my love," while she was half asleep. How did I become so fortunate to have such a wonderful wife? I kissed her forehead and gave her a "good morning honey" before she went back to sleep. I started getting ready for work. Picking out a suit and seeing which tie matched; I would wake my wife but I know she has a hard night with the girls so I let her rest. I washed my face and brushed my teeth before anything. As soon as I finished up I put my suit and tie on and tied my shoes.
I walked over to my daughters' shared room and opened the door and there they were, sleeping peacefully and comfortably in this cold winter.
I went to the kitchen as soon as I shut the door to have a snack before leaving for work. I made myself a straight black coffee and a bagel. With everything I've been dealing with for the company and my boss, I needed it. I was utterly disgusted by him; However, I am powerless to stop this. I had no other option but to be forced into this. My two beautiful girls, who are now two years old, and my wife are the only people who are helping me get through it.
It's amazing how quickly time passes; I recall the first time we brought them home from the hospital. They were so little and delicate that I worried that if I held them in a particular way, they would break. Now they have developed into two stunning girls who support their mother when necessary.
It's time to leave, I notice as I glance at the time on my watch. I say hello to my neighbors as I make my way to my car, which I start, shift into drive, and leave for work.
Mothers POV
I finally woke up from a much needed sleep. The night before was a rough one. Y/N was sick with a tummy ache and couldn't sleep. Aria was sick with a fever and was vomiting every 2 hours. I forced myself out of bed missing the warmth of it already; I got up took a shower and got ready for the day. I made breakfast for my little girls. I made Aria some oatmeal and Y/N waffles as they requested.
I prepared their meals from scratch, just the way I enjoy doing it. I enjoy staying at home and looking after my husband and children. preparing food, cleaning the house, going grocery shopping, and so forth.
After Y/N and Aria finished their meals, I sent them off to their rooms to play. While they were on their way there, they laughed and giggled, and I nearly melted. I had a deep love for being a mother. I was eager to see what the two of them would come to in the future. All I want for the two of them is growth and success.
After several hours, I finished my chores and the girls were dozing off for their midday nap. I started preparing tonight's dinner for the four of us. Along with a baked potato and some steamed, seasoned vegetables, I'm preparing a steak. Oh my goodness, my hubby and the girls enjoyed that dinner just as much as I did.
There's a creak as the door unlocks and opens as I'm finishing up. I yelled over to him, "hi honey." He approached me and planted a peck on my cheek, saying, "Hello darling." I asked "How was work?" He frowned and said, "Oh you know, the some old thing every time."
"Aww, my poor baby," I said, giving him a cheek kiss. I beamingly said, "Well, you are in luck because I made your favorite meal today." His belly began to speak back to me as his face brightened with happiness. He gently said, "No wonder why I married you," as he clasped my waist and planted a kiss on me. "All right, let's eat before it gets cold," I exclaim, laughing heartily.
He chuckled softly "I'll go get the girls for you" he says as he walked towards their room where laughter can be heard.
