Shadows of the past (Leoxreader)

Leo's POV

"A whole part of a stake out is to be silent!" I whispered harshly. All I heard after that was silence "Thank you." y/n and Mikey were goofing off for a little until I got fed up with it. "Sorry Leo" Y/n murmured with Mikey following suit. I just ignored them and kept an eye on the building that the purple dragons were supposedly in.

Y/n walked up next to me to get a look "when are they gonna do the crime already?" She muttered a little annoyed. I understood her but we needed to wait as long as we could because I heard that they were working with stinkman and Shredder.

Apparently everyone wanted to goof off at this specific time, cause now it was raphs and casey's turn. I turned around "seriously guys?" they stopped and looked at me "cmon Leo, we're bored and we've been here for almost 4 hours." raph stated "yeah Leo, and I'm so hungry I could eat all of Antonio's." Mikey whines . I rolled my eyes at them but before I could speak y/n put her hand on my shoulder, It was really soft.

Mikey and Raph started play fighting while Donnie and Casey argued and april in the middle of them obviously looking ticked off. "Guys!" y/n whispered loudly "shut your traps." I was about to thank her when she put up a finger to her lips and ordered us to stay quiet. I looked at her confused because I didn't hear anything "what is it?" I mouthed to her.

She ignored me and walked to the middle of the rooftop and stopped. She kept looking left and right. Okay, now she was really starting to freak me out. She turned back to me "The foot bots are here" she mouthed. Oh no.

"How do you know" I mouthed back and she just pointed to her ears. Man she must have extreme hearing or something. I looked around and checked multiple areas and buildings but I saw nothing. Y/n walked up behind me and whispered "they're hiding and watching us. I can feel them looking at us." dang, she has some good senses.

I nodded at her and unsheathed my Katanas getting ready for a fight. I heard the others follow suit from my action.

Y/n didn't have a weapon since she preferred her firearm and her hands which by the way they are basically weapons from the way I've seen her use them. It's so cool. I began day dreaming. Snap out of it Leo! You need to focus!

I took a steady breath and got ready for what was coming at us. I heard y/n move so I turned to her direction to see where she was looking at. Her gun was pointed at a dark corner and sure enough three foot bots emerge from the darkness with weapons drawn and ready to fight. Gosh she's so cool.

We were at a standoff waiting for the other to attack and make a move. I clenched my jaw and tightened my fists around the handles, my breathing getting heavier each second we stood like this. I knew there were more, they always came in a pack of like 100; which by the way is ridiculous and unnecessary. But I also knew she was around, no way they would send them out here alone without her leading them. I looked around to see if I could spot her but so far I haven't seen her.

After what seemed like eternity the foot bots finally threw themselves at us wasting no time in wanting to eliminate us. I grunted as I swung my sword and sliced one in half and then swung it back to stab another through its head before it could land anything on me. My heart was on fire and my movements were fast and swift. We needed to get this fight over with and get back to our actual mission.

I could hear everyone's grunts and small screams while engaging these stupid robots. But for some reasons I haven't heard y/n use her gun. "Weird." I thought. I threw a couple punches at one bot and kicked another off the building. I didn't see one coming for me and I was too late to react and block him.

I hissed in pain as he cut my right arm with his small knife and tried to land a punch but I used my other arm to swing my sword at him to cut his head off. I looked at the gash and saw blood starting to trickle out fast but I couldn't let that distract me so I continued on in the fight.
