Shadows of the past (Leoxreader)

Leo's POV

I heard Mikey gasp at the sight of Y/n. I couldn't believe my eyes either "Seems like she hasn't had food or water in the past four days, she's malnourished and seems all her injuries really took a toll on her." Donnie said as he was examining her.

"Her pulse is small but it's there." That shot worry through my heart and I walked up to Donnie immediately. "Okay what do you need us to do?" I asked with panic in my voice. He retracted his makeshift stethoscope from y/n's chest and put next to her head. "Well first we need to attend to all her wounds and make sure she doesn't have any infections."

I nodded my head "okay, okay yeah me and Raph can do that." I walked up to April and whispered in her ear "can you please take Mikey out of here, we don't need him to see y/n like this." She smiled softly and nodded.

I watched her as she guided Mikey out of the lab. I looked back to Donnie and saw him getting more bandages out along with rags "Leo, I need you to go get me some warm water from the kitchen" I nodded and quickly headed towards the kitchen. I grabbed a pot and filled it with water and put it on the stove so it could boil for a little bit. Once the water was warm enough, I put it in a bowl and headed towards the lab.

I walked past the doors when I heard y/n start to whine. I quickly put the bowl down on the table next to her and stood by her left side. I gabbed her hand and she flinched hard, I stared at her confused but her eyebrows started to furrow and her nose scrunched "no" she whispered really quietly. I took my hand off of her and she turned her head to right and her eyes started fluttering open. Her eyes snapped open and she turned her head to the ceiling again "NO! NOT AGAIN PLEASE!" She frantically yelled out and started moving on the table and I held her wrists down so she didn't injure herself more.

She started thrashing around even more and so I jumped on top of her to hold her down "PLEASE NO! I'M SORRY" I looked at Donnie wide eyed "Do something!" I kept her restrained as much as I could but even weak, y/n is as strong as ever. "Okay okay!" Donnie grabbed a needle and injected it into a vein in her neck. Her movements started to slow and her eyes fluttered shut and she was stilled. Donnie stepped back from her "I gave her enough anesthesia to knock her out for a couple hours while we work on her." I nodded and slowly got off of her "what the hell was that!?" Raph chimed in "I don't know, but whatever they did to her was obviously traumatizing." Donnie nodded "whatever happens we just need to be quick and fast for her sake." Me and Raph nodded and got started on cleaning her wounds.

After about an hour of cleaning and heavy metallic smells hitting our noses, most of her wounds were cleaned and we bandaged her torso where the big gash was and some small ones on her arms. We still had her legs too get to but me, Raph, and Donnie all got new rags and supplies again since ours were all bloody. I went to go rinse my hands again for the fifth time in this hour. I leaned over the sink and rested my elbows on the edge as the warm water hit my hands "Why the hell would they do this to her?" Raph asked quietly, I shrugged "I don't know" I replied "Whatever it was for, it had to be pretty important to mess her up this badly" Donnie added.

I turned the sink off and dried my hands with a rag and turned around and leaned on the sink "I wanna know why cat man and shred head weren't there." I looked up to Raph "Maybe he had to be somewhere else at the time?" I thought for a moment "And miss the downfall of us and Master Splinter? No way he would miss that." I acknowledged "He knew something we didn't, like he knew the plan wasn't gonna work. Maybe that's why he didn't care enough to stick around" Don chimed in.

I watched as he walked around y/n's limp body and gave her some fluids through an IV into her system. "I'm just glad we got her out of there." Raph nodded "but what about the big secret she's been keeping from us?" I sighed "she's gonna have to explain herself once she's better again." Raph and Don nodded. I was about to open my mouth when I heard y/n mumble.
