the boys and i were in jay's room. the seven of us were gathered in a circle, playing uno together.
niki got a +2 card from jay and sunoo, and a +4 card from jake. everyone laughed at how defeated his face looked. he sulked, saying how he never wanted to play uno with them again.
among all the laughter that filled the air, only yours was the one i could hear.
and you weren't even here to see what we were all laughing about.
thinking about you made my once wide smile and loud laughter die down, replaced by a gloomy smile.
