Season 2, Episode 1: Omega

The following morning, I was greeted with the ever so joyous sound of my alarm clock letting me know that I'd be returning to hell. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I liked my time away from school.

Also, it's been about a day since I've seen or heard from Derek. I don't know where he is or what he's up to, but for some reason I just didn't care. I mean, yeah, there was some worry in me, but it wasn't enough to go out and lead a search party for him.

He left a note for me yesterday saying he'd be away anyways. Hopefully, it wasn't to go and try to bite another idiot like he did Jackson. Did I ever mention that? Jackson's on his way to becoming a werewolf.

Because that's exactly what Beacon Hills needs right now.

It was about seven thirty when I got to school, parking my car right next to Stiles' jeep as him and Scott were just getting out. The two of them spotted me, waiting for me to grab my bag so the three of us could walk in together.

"Mornin' boys," I greeted them as I locked the car.

From the looks on their faces, it was obvious that something was up. I mean, I could also smell it off of them, but their faces were the giveaway.

"Oh god, what now?" I asked.

"My dad got a call this morning that a body at the cemetery was dug up and the liver was missing," Stiles began, making sure to speak quietly. "Which is convenient considering we know someone who survived the bite of an alpha and is out loose."

Scott furrowed his eyebrows. "She ate the liver?" He asked.

"No, I didn't say she ate it--" Stiles corrected him, "I just said it was missing."

"I don't know, there's a better chance she ate it."

Stiles flailed his arms in defense. "And, you know what? Even if she did, so what?" He began. "It's the most nutritious part of the body."

I groaned. "There is no justifying this, Stiles," I let out a laugh, patting him on the back.

"Yeah man, I've never eaten a liver."

Stiles sighed. " Yeah, right. 'Cause, when it comes to Werewolves, you're a real model of self-control..." He began, stopping in his tracks as he realized something. "Actually, wait-- hold on. You're the test case for this, so we should be going over what happened to you."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked.

I was also intrigued, wanting to know where Stiles was going with this. I get that he thinks Scott and Lydia are having canon moments, but Lydia obviously isn't a werewolf.

"I mean, like, what was going through your mind when you were turning, you know?" Stiles asked. "What were you drawn to?"

Anyone could answer this one.

"Allison," Scott replied with a shrug.

Stiles and I both groaned. "Okay, nothing else? Seriously?" Stiles asked for confirmation.

"Nothing else mattered," Scott answered. "But, no, that's good, though, right? 'Cause the night that Lydia was bitten, she was with you."

Stiles sighed defeatedly. "Yeah, but she was looking for--" He began, getting cut off my the sound of a familiar porche pulling up to the school. "--Jackson."

I shrugged, nudging the two boys to get back to walking into the school. "It could be worse," I looked on the brighter side.

"How could it be worse?" Stiles asked. "When I think of worse, I think of Jackson."
