A/N: Autocorrect keeps on correcting Tweeders name btw so sorry if it's a mistake!
"Where'd you go after the party?" Jules asked as we were at her house watching a movie.
It was Saturday, my mom was out of town for three weeks for her job and me and Jules were hanging out.
"If I can remember," I said flipping through the channel. "There isn't shit on."
"So why'd you have Tweeder shirt on when I saw you?" She giggled.
"I did?" I asked confused.
"Yeah Tweeter came home shirtless."
I got up and left the house to go across the street to my house. Jules followed behind me while I was looking for Tweeter's shirt. I finally found the blue button up he wore last night on my floor and I cursed to myself.
"Well are you gonna return it to him?" Jules asked raising her eyebrow.
"Duh I have to," I said and quickly grabbed a load of clothes to toss in the wash.
I waited for the washer to get done washing the clothes and quickly put it into the dryer.
I took out the shirt and it was much cleaner than it was before.
"Does this look good?" I asked Jules.
"Yeah," she says with a laugh.I knocked on the door a couple of times. It looked like Tweeter lived in the country in an old farm house.
"Is he here?" I turned around to ask Jules.
She gave me a shrug. After a couple of minutes waiting, I heard the door open and it was Tweeter.
I turned around and smiled. He was standing there shirtless with a cowboy hat on and some pants.
"Well hey," Tweeter says taking off his cowboy hat. "What brings you two here?"
"I wanted to bring your shirt back from last night," I said and laughed nervously.
"Oh thanks," he says as I handed him the shirt.
"You're welcome," I said and turned around to leave."She was practically gawking at him," Jules jokes.
I rolled my eyes at her and threw a fry at her.
Me, her, Mox, and Billy Bob decided to get some food at a diner. We just wanted to hang out since there is nothing to do in West Canaan really.
"I mean Tweeter is cute," Billy Bob says. "He gets all the girls, you know? You might be next in line."
"Yeah Ny, you and Tweeter would be cute," Jules says. "He's a junior and you're a sophomore so it'll work out."
"Like Billy Bob said, Tweeter gets all the girls and I won't have a chance," I said sulking back in my seat. "And you know how...guys are when they're attractive and they get every single girl possible."
"Well that's Tweeter for you," Mox says and grabs a fry from my plate.
"When's the last time he's even...been in a relationship?" I asked.
"Waitttt you're asking because you like him?" Jules says smirking at me.
"What no!" I said defensively. "I'm just asking...out of curiosity."
"Well since you asked," Mox says leaning forward. "He's dated a lot of girls. Some were serious and some were flings. He dated this one girl named Laney Ann and they were...somewhat serious. She graduated last year."
"Ohhh," I said nodding my head like I understood.
"You know Tweeter might like you just go for it," Mox says."You look lonely over here," Tweeter says. "Mind if I take a sit?"
"Um sure why not?" I said scooting over for him.
It's nearly been a whole month and it's now July since I moved to West Canaan. I hung out with Jules and sometimes Darcy nearly everyday just about to get more comfortable with them. They were some nice folks down here. Tweeter and I somewhat started to hang out but only around friends.
"So how you likin' West Canaan?" He asked me.
We were at a party together but were away from people. We were sitting outside under a tree while I just wanted to be alone.
"I like it," I said. "You know it's not much but it's something."
"Yep," Tweeter says and takes a sip of his beer.
We sat in silence for a moment with nothing to talk about.
"You know," Tweeter says breaking the silence. "We should hang out, you know catch a movie or something."
"Yeah it'd be nice," I said. "Would your girlfriend mind?"
Tweeter looked at me weirdly and chuckled a little.
"Girlfriend?" He repeated. "Where'd you hear that from?"
"Oh no I was just wondering," I said nervously.
"So you wanna hang out tomorrow or somethin'?" He asked me changing the subject.
"Uh sure why not?""I don't know what to wear," I said in a panic.
My room was a whole mess because I was trying to find something cute to wear.
"Well wear something sluttish," Jules says.
"No," I said rolling my eyes.
"I thought you said this wasn't a date?" She says walking over towards me. "You know you shouldn't be stressed over a hangout."
"Ugh I know it's just...I want to make a good impression on Tweeter," I said sitting on my bed and sighing. "I'll just wear this."
I picked up a white crop top with some shorts and sandals.
"Do you think he'll like this?" I asked.
"It's Tweeter," Jules said. "He likes anything.""Well don't you look nice," Tweeter compliments me.
I started blushing like crazy and thanked him.
"So where are we going?" I asked him.
"Hmm," he said thinking to himself. "Where ever you like pretty lady."
"The movies," I said with a smile on my face.
We went to the movies and ended up watching some romance movie. I didn't even know what it was called and knew it was old. It was about a new girl in town and some guy just goes head over heels for her instantly. It was like me, but the guy I was sitting with probably wasn't head over heels with me.
"You know that could be us right?" He whispered jokingly in my ear.
I giggled a little and looked at him.
"Yeah Tweeter it could be us," I said and looked back at the movie.
