Finding her

Sunlight shining through the windows wakes me, I yawn and sit up while stretching a little bit.

I don't know where Bucky is but I still feel bad that I'm occupying his room.

Astro jumps onto the bed slightly scaring me, I guess he's been awake for a while.

Astro sits in front of me and meows then looks at the door then back at me, I think he's telling me we need to go out there.

"Astro, I'm not sure I wanna go yet. I don't think I can face Wanda right now." I say softly.

Astro puts his paw up so I mirror his motion and put my hand up, he lifts his head and gently bites my hand and pulls me in the direction of the door.

I sigh, "Fine, if you wanna go that bad let's go." I say while getting out of the bed and walking towards the door.

He immediately jumps up and runs to the door in front of me, he's acting strange like he's scared of something I'm not sure.

I quietly open the door and the second the air from the hallway hits me I get a slight headache.

I step into the hall and the silence is eerie, it's dark, too dark. Something if off but I don't know what.

Walking down the hallway I'm hyper aware of every little noise, it's almost like my senses are heightened.

Astro and I walk towards the direction of my room, I wonder if Wanda realized I got out yet.

I still haven't processed what happened last night, it was so strange. I know Wanda was upset but I would never imagine her acting the way she did.

I get to my room and everything looks the exact same as I left it. Maybe everybody is still asleep? I have no idea what time it is.

I search my room for my phone, and the second I find it I check the time.

                        1:36pm

That's weird, I guess everyone stayed up late last night because of the party so they might just be sleeping or maybe they had an urgent mission? I don't know.

I think I'm paranoid or something, maybe I just need to chill out and calm down.

I decide to change into one of my dance leotard's and some skin color leggings.

I open my closet door, grabbing my point shoes with a shaky breath.

I haven't danced since the Red Room, I know it should affect me like this but for some reason I'm just kinda scared.

The material of the shoes in my hand feels so strange, it feels like it's been an eternity since of worn them but in reality it's only been a couple weeks.

A small meow pulls me out of my thoughts, Astro rubs gently against my leg so I bend down and pet him.

"Wanna go dance?" I ask him, he meows which seams like a yes "Okay, let me finish getting ready." I tell him and pat his head.

I stand back up and look in the mirror, I don't want to put on makeup right now so I just brush my hair and curl my eyelashes so I don't look too dead.

I grab my phone and point shoes "Ready Astro?" I ask and receive a meow in response, so I open the door and we head out.

Walking through the tower feels unreal, it's silent and empty. Not even Yelena being obnoxiously loud anywhere.

If everyone is on a mission they couldn't have brought Yelena could they? I'm so confused, where are they?
