A WEEK HAS passed by since the dead of Camilla Davids. Every morning was a harsh reminder for Rose that she had to continue her life without her mother. The past weeks has been rough, the days are long and dark. The only thing Rose wants to do is lay in bed, all day long. But she doesn't, for Natalie. She can't do that to her. Rose has to stray strong for Natalie. 

Rose has to move to Kansas with her father and Taylor eventually, she knows that. But she wants to stay with Natalie, for at least a few more weeks. She can't just leave her, and move to Kansas when they need each other the most.

Travis had to go back to Kansas for the weekend, Taylor is still in London. Taylor stays at her own place, but she comes every evening to cook dinner for Natalie and Rose. Taylor and Rose are doing better. Rose isn't very talkative to Taylor, but that's better than yelling at her. Rose isn't really talkative to anyone at this point.

"Hey sweetie." Taylor spoke as she walked into the living room, her eyes spotted Rose on the couch. Taylor got a key from Natalie, so she could come whenever she wanted. "..Hi" Rose said softly, a sad look in her eyes, but this time it was something different. "Is everything okay here?" Taylor asked, as she sat down next to Rose on the couch. "I'm worried about Natalie, she has been upstairs in the office for the whole day. I heard her yelling at the phone..." Rose said, she let out a frustrated sigh. "I'll go check up on her.. Thank you for telling me Rose." Taylor said, Rose nodded.

Taylor went upstairs, and softly knocked on the door. "Yes?!" Natalie snapped. "Hey, It's me.. Can I come in please?" Taylor spoke up, she heard Natalie sigh and after that Natalie opened the door. "Hey, is everything okay? Rose said that she heard you yelling..." Taylor began. Natalie ran her hands through her hair. "I got called in..." Natalie said, she almost whispered. Taylor looked a little confused. "I work in the military... I got called in, a 7 month mission in Irak.." Natalie teared up as she spoke. "I have to go... But I don't want to leave Rose behind..." Natalie sobbed softly, Taylor took a step closer to her and wrapped her arms around her.

"I know that Rose will be okay with you and Travis... it's just... I don't have a choice, I actually have to go, Tay..." Natalie said, her eyes filled with tears. "I feel like I'm betraying Rose..." Natalie cried, she put her face in the crook of Taylor her neck. "I'm so sorry Nat..." Taylor spoke of softly, not knowing what else to say. A million things came running to her mind.

After a moment of just holding Natalie, Taylor spoke up again. "When do you have to leave..?" Taylor said. Natalie let out a quiet sob to that question. "...Two weeks..." Natalie cried, Taylor's heart fell for her. It became silent again, they were just holding each other. "..Thank you Taylor... for being like my best friend..." Natalie spoke up, after she calmed down. "Of course Nat, you're my best friend too." Taylor smiled sweetly, glad that she could be there for Natalie. The two bonded quickly.

Taylor and Natalie went downstairs. Rose's eyes immediately turned to them when they walked inside. "Hey?" Rose said, almost questioning. "Is everything alright?" Rose added. Natalie sat down next to Rose. "I need to tell you something darling..." Natalie began. Rose frowned her eyebrows a little. "Okay... Go on..." Rose said. Natalie took a minute to find her words.

"I got called back in..." Natalie said, barely above a whisper. "What?" Rose her eyes became watery, she knows all too well what that means. "No... Natalie no..." "I am so sorry Rose... I have to go..." Natalie said, a tear ran down her face. "No you don't, please!" Rose started crying. Natalie embraced Rose, her own tears falling rapidly too. "Where and how long?" Rose softly said, her voice vulnerable. "Irak.. at least 7 months..." Natalie said, her voice cracked. Rose sobbed at her words. "When do you have to go..?" Rose said, she looked up to Natalie. When she saw the look in Natalie's face, her heart broke. "...2 weeks..." Natalie said "I'm so sorry darling...".
