A FEW DAYS passed by. Today is the day that Natalie will leave to Irak. The last few days, Rose has spent every moment she could with Natalie. Everything has been very hard for Rose. It feels like she is loosing Natalie too. Natalie did had a conversation about Rose her weird eat pattern. It worried her, and she had to make sure someone else knew before she left. But Rose denied everything, it was like talking to a wall. Whatever she tried, Rose wouldn't say anything. It was obvious that she wasn't eating at all. It frustrated Natalie a lot, she couldn't just leave Rose behind when she's struggling so much... But she doesn't really have a choice.

Natalie and Rose sat on the couch, Taylor and Travis will be there any minute. They will all go to the airport, to say goodbye to Natalie. Natalie put her arm around Rose, cuddling. It was silent for a moment, but Rose decided to break the silence. "I can't believe that you're going already... Time moves too fast..." Rose spoke, she let out a soft sigh. "Yeah... it's crazy. I'll miss you so much Rosemary." Natalie said, she pulled Rose a little closer. "I'll miss you too Natalie..." "You know I will reach out to you whenever I can, I'll try and call you, sent letters, I will do everything I can..." Natalie said. "Thank you.." Rose smiled.

~ A few moments later.

The four of them sat in the car, on their way to the airport. Travis was driving, Natalie sat in the passenger seat and Rose and Taylor are sat in the back. There was a comfortable silence. Rose looked at the cars speeding by, everything she saw through the window flew by, just like her life. Everything is going too fast. The past days Rose talked with Natalie about her mom, but how will that go with Taylor and her dad? No one knows about the memories she made with her mom, the only one that knows is Natalie.

They arrived at the airport. Travis rolled Natalie's suitcase, and they walked to Natalie's gate. Rose was silent, usually she has a lot to say, but now? Everything will change. Not a little. No. A big ass change. She will move to America, leaving everything behind. She just lost her mom, and now she has to say goodbye for 7 months to Natalie. Maybe everyone is underestimating how hard this all is for Rose. Everyone indeed is, except for one person. One person sees what exactly is going on.

It's Taylor.

Taylor noticed Rose her eating habits, she notices it all. She sees the little things she did too when she had an eating disorder. And she knows that she has to be there for Rose, but how can she do that when Rose blocks her out in every way possible? I mean, it's getting a little bit better. But every time Taylor thinks that it is, it's going backwards again. Taylor needs patience with Rose, a lot of patience. And she needs a plan, she also needs to talk with Travis. So much is happening, maybe it is too much for everyone.

"So.. Thank you for bringing me." Natalie spoke up, looking at Travis. "Of course, take care Natalie." Travis gave Natalie a short hug. "Hey.." Natalie turned to Taylor. "I'm going to miss you Nat.." Taylor said, while she pulled her friend in a tight hug. Taylor held back her tears, in this short amount of time Natalie has become an important person in her life. They became friends quickly, well, best friends."I'm going to miss you too... Please take care of her..." Natalie said, she wiped a tear away from her face and embraced Taylor. "I will... don't worry... I will do everything I can.." Taylor said determinedly, she knew exactly what Natalie meant and who she was talking about.

A while later, Rose sat in the car back to her house. This time without Natalie, Rose is staring mindlessly out the window. Watching everything fly by again. After a few moments, Rose spoke up. "I want to go to America." Her voice lingered in the car. Both Travis and Taylor were confused. "..Uh... why so soon buddy? You know that you don't have to hurry all this?" Travis was the first one to speak up. "I know, I'm done with London, I have nothing left here... I'm ready." Rose said determinedly. Travis and Taylor were left speechless, they expected that Rose would want to stay in London as long as possible.

"So... when are we leaving?" Rose spoke up again. Taylor looked with a puzzled look at Travis. "Uh, whenever you want buddy..." Travis spoke up, a little hesitant. "What about next Saturday, then I will have some time to pack my stuff." Rose suggested, she really wants to leave London. "Uh, I can arrange my plane.." Taylor spoke up carefully. "Yeah, that's okay..." There was a short pause between Travis's words. "...Are you sure you want this Rose?" He said. "I need change dad, I need to go somewhere else. Being here without my mom and Natalie is killing me." Rose explained, her voice cracking a little. Travis smiled sadly. "That's okay, I understand." Taylor said. "I think we should go to Kansas first, so you can settle down there. Jason and my father made a whole new room for you." Travis said. Rose smiled, a new room sounds great.

"Thank you dad.." Rose spoke up after a little silence. "For what?" Travis asked, he look at Rose through the front mirror. "Everything... For choosing to be my dad again.." Rose said, looking down at her lap. "Of course buddy.. You don't have to thank me for that.." Travis said, his heart warmed at Rose's words. "Also.. Thank you Taylor... For everything you did for me and Nat.. and for caring about me, and for accepting that your boyfriend suddenly has a daughter... me being here is changing a lot for you too..." Rose said, avoiding any eye contact. "Of course Rose... You're welcome sweetie.. I'm here for you too now, whatever happens... okay?" Taylor smiled, this was the sweetest thing Rose ever said to her. "Thank you." Rose said, she smiled a little. Taylor smiled widely, her heart beating fast. All she wants, is Rose to like her. To open up to her.

Maybe this is what Rose needs. A new start. A new place to call home. London has too many memories to process right now, maybe this is exactly what needs to happen.
