So why is Death so cruel?
Why does Death take away the ones who want to live the most?
Why does it feel like Death wants to take the ones who deserve to live the most?

Y/n was a coward always, fearing the consequences. But just like Heimerdinger and her father said, all actions have a reaction, she needs to start living and not give a shit about the consequences.
And as Death, she chooses the fate of people. She finally got that in her mind when she made the choice that she would've regretted if she never made.
She choose to take life from the undeserving and give it to someone when she was dying, someone who had too little time but deserved way more, saving two people with that one choice.
"I can't believe that she hasn't been sleeping good for months and all it took you was just one hug to make her sleep" Jinx looked at Ekko with her eyebrows raised, seeing how Y/n was finally sleeping while she was hugging Ekko, half laying on him on a beanbag.
"What can I say? I'm good like that" Ekko joked cockily as he looked at the blue haired girl on the other bean bag beside him. They were in Jinx's hideout, because Y/n wanted Ekko to meet someone, since he was on good terms with Jinx now, both sides for Y/n's sake, but she ended up falling asleep.
"See Isha? The betrayal" Jinx said jokingly to the girl who was laying on her in the bean bag. Isha, who was saved by Y/n during the explosion and given an extra life from Death, nodded jokingly towards Jinx, but watched with a smile how peaceful Y/n was now. No stress on her face, no coldness or scowl that barely left her face, just a peaceful look as she was able to sleep by Ekko's left side, laying on his chest and listening to his heart as the boy had his arms around her shoulders.
"She was never meant to fight on her own" Ekko said with a soft smile as he watched the girl's peaceful face. "She needed someone by her side."
"But we were always by her side" Jinx said as Isha nodded.
"Because she wanted to protect you" Ekko looked at the two younger girls. "She didn't want to put her problems on your shoulders because she loves you. But I promised to read her when she can't speak out her mind, so even without words, I can see when something's wrong."
Before Jinx could answer, Sevika endered the hideout, seemingly searching for someone. She got closer to the group, hoping to find who she was searching for, but when she saw that Y/n was asleep she was a bit hesitant to speak.
"But she's finally sleeping" Jinx argued, not wanting her sister to not sleep when she has been tired for a long time.
"I don't want her to wake up, I know she needs sleep" Sevika spoke towards Jinx before looking at Ekko, who had his arms protectively around Y/n. "But it's really urgent. It's not something that I should have a say in."
"How urgent?" a tired Y/n spoke, surprising everyone that she's awake, but she didn't open her eyes.
