THE TINY HANDS OF CORA JOSEPHINE SWAN tightly clenched the top of Stefan's finger as he gazed down at his daughter with a defining expression of adoration and love as he caressed her cheek. "You know I bet you she has green eyes" Stefan hummed softly as his daughter opened her eyes, naturally any newborn baby has blue eyes "Newborns will have blue eyes until six to twelve months, correct?" He asked glancing back at Athena who nodded her head "It can be up to three years but that's rare, she'll be a beautiful blonde girl with green eyes" Athena cracked a smile, her fingers slipping into her pocket and fished out her cell phone.

Stefan's attention peaked at her words about Bella texting and he glanced down at Cora "A vote for what?" Rosalie was next to speak as she turned her attention away from Cora for a moment. "A vote to become a vampire" Athena replied as she turned off her phone walking towards Carlisle who smiled nodding his head. Stefan stilled at the mention of it, he whisked out his phone turning it on seeing several missed calls from Bella and a few texts messages. He shook his head "She wants a vote ? Fine" He said glancing at Carlisle.

"Let's take Cora home and then we will deal with Bella"

Carlisle nodded his head, he walked out of the room. Stefan stood close to the front door listening to the doctor talk about releasing Cora to be cared and monitor more closely at home. Stefan didn't know the kind of rooms he had set up at his house but furthermore he was grateful. Athena seemingly reading his mind "I use to care for foster children when they were newborns" she said sheepishly "I have everything set up in the garage for a premature baby" She replied seeing Rosalie glaring obliviously remembering all the times Athena brought a baby back to the Cullen residence.

"Must have been torture" Stefan rolled his eyes as he grabbed a duffle bag prepared by the staff upon their arrival. It wasn't long before Carlisle returned with the discharge papers "Did you play grandpa to get her out?" Stefan said with a charming Cheshire smile overtaking his face. He could see Carlisle smile at the word Grandpa, "They took me at the sentence Dr Cullen and then grandfather, though generally confused at the last part" Carlisle said signalling Athena and Rosalie before all of them left.

It wasn't long before they had everything situated in the car and headed off to Forks. Stefan had this feeling in his chest, he sighed picking up his phone he started dialing Charlie's number. Despite how late it was, the line clicked and was answered in a gruffy tone of a sleeping man "Stef?" Charlie's voice croaked and he swallowed the salvia back to clear his throat. "What's up son?" Charlie asked a bit worried at the silence before he had spoke prior faster than his own son. "Hey dad, hope I'm not intruding on your sleep" A slight chuckle from Charlie as he sat up while Stefan saw Rosalie inclined to listen

"You'd never intrude on anything Stefan, everything okay?" Charlie's tone made even Rosalie's heart melt and she thought back to her own parents. "I met this girl a few months back, nearly eight months ago" He started off hearing his father sigh thinking it was something else, "She ended up pregnant" Stefan words stilled Charlie who was getting up from his bed. Stefan could hear the man fumbling around and the clank of the cellphone was proof enough that Charlie Swan was in shock.
