"You have my word." He said to her, nodding his head at Stefan. Bella took a deep breath, smiled, and turned back to Edward. "Okay. You can take me home." Edward angled his attention to Stefan, "Can we talk about Cora now?" He smirked seeing Stefan narrow his eyes drawing Bella's interest on the came, "Can someone enlightment who Cora is?"

"Cora is your niece"

The announcement made Bella flinched, her eyes widening at the news as she met Stefan's eyes with an abundance of shock in her depths. "What the hell? You yell at me about being involved and you go adopt-" Her words went silent when she saw the look of anger not only in Stefan's eyes but Rosalie as well. "You are a teenager Bella, you make your own conscious descisions that affect others, decisions that harm others" Stefan scolded her once more, his eyes narrowing "Cora is biologically your niece, my blood runs through her veins" Stefan clenched his fist, "You remember Josie correct? thats her birth mother, who died giving birth" He said seeing her flinched at the news. 

"What about Cameron, does he know about her?" Bella asked about her friend, or someone she considered an acquaintance at least. "The Helms will think that Josie and her baby died, I used my gift to convince hospital staff that" Stefan eyes darkened hearing a low chuckle from Edward, whom was trying to prove a point that he was wrong. "But-" Bella was cut off, Stefan held up a hand "The Helms and I are in a bind, they would have attempted to take her and I am not dealing with that, legally on paper, Rosalie gave birth to Cora and that's what dad thinks too" He said dropping more information on his little sister.

"Right dad shared a bit of their personality with me" Bella seemed more relaxed as she spoke, a sudden hopeful look in her eyes "Can I meet her?" She asked her old brother who spared a glance at Rosalie. "Come back tomorrow with dad, she's needs rest from travel" Stefan then smirked at Edward who didn't get what he wanted from the situation growing at hand. Edward fumed at the conversation , "Is that a bit hyprocrital? You get on Bella's case regarding us but the moment she does it to you, its different" Edward asked "Must be amazing, to balance responsiblity of actions" Stefan raised his eyebrows at Edward, a passive expression lingering on his face. "Adult-" he pointed to himself, then to Bella "Teenager" he then pointed down the stairs "Mine and Rosalie's daughter, mine by blood, whose let see, not human" Stefan said abbreviating his words.

"Apparently your more dense than we thought" Stefan said sarcastically with a grand smile, "Did I knock you on the head one too many times? if so I'll do it again" He said narrowing his eyes "We're done discussing this, end of discussion. Both of you have been selfish of one another and with family. Mine and Rosalie choice doesn't affect you people, because Cora has parents who aren't human" He said crossing his arms "Yes I am selfish for taking her from her biological maternal family, but they would forcily take her, they wouldn't handle what she becomes when she phases" He said walking to the door, thrusting it open "Take my little sister home before Charlie wakes up again and doesn't find her in her bedroom"

"He is correct Edward, Cora's existence doesn't affect you" Esme voice was quiet behind all of them, her golden eyes searching Stefan's face. He tensed a bit, trying to relax as Edward huffed grabbing  Bella's hand and left the house. Stefan watched them go, even when Bella got on Edwards back and they disappeared into the night. He felt Rosalie's hand against his back, rubbing delicate strokes against his clothed back. "He's off babysitting list" Stefan declared turning around glancing at Rosalie, seeing the smile on her face "That's okay we have Esme" A twinkle in her eyes seeing her adoptive mother step forward, her eyes excited.

"We need decide the Godparents, definitely Damon" Stefan said talking about his best friend, whom was like his brother ever since High School and college. Stefan eyes widened "Shit we need to shift reality on him, need to convince him that you gave birth to Cora" Stefan felt bad for lying to Damon but it was needed to keep up the facade. Rose nodded her head "Tomorrow, I'll text him that we're staying at my parents after a second flight" She pulled out her phone and kissed him.
